Is that you?
My first away game outside London, I've never seen any footage of it but there's a chance I'm in it! Started off in the open end, went into the covered end, got chucked out during the taking of the Oxford bit (and running them into the side across the pitch) and then ended up on the other side near the corner flag. Being in hree out of four parts of the ground stands a pretty good chance of being seen. The old bill at Chelsea used to watch the Shed End with binoculars from the camera gantry in the West Stand and then radio their collegues in The Shed. Later on they built those little raised platforms at the back of The Shed for the plods to stand in and chuck people out for having a knees up. Stupid really, most the aggro took place in front of the Bovril entrance when Millwall and Tottenham fancied there chances (and failed miserably).

Shame on you, you should have been in the Northbank.

So effing what, so can Liverpool. It's hatred of opposing supporters than come first for me I'm afraid and although Liverpool are starting to get close to my most hated it'll always be Tottenham first.

Chants of old
For years and years I sang "Bring on Tottenham or the Arsenal, bring on spastics by the score..... ending with .....and Sexton's old lady is a whore" 'cos that's what I heard and copied. Now doubt those newbies around me at the time picked those words up as well!!

***king Keegan
Same here. I've hated him since the little sh*t tried a Maradona and punched the ball in on the blindside against us in a league cup match at Southampton years ago. It must be a short arsed, curly habit. My Mum hates him too, she cant stands the way he pops his tongue out as he talks, always reminds her of a snake. Good old Mum, spot on as usual.

Chants of old
The tune is "MacNamara's Band"..Probably some WW2 song they sang in the underground during the Blitz. Boy, did we sing this in the White Lion in Putney the day we won the league in front of the Fulham and Everton fans. My boy who was about elevan at the time was on the tables singing the Osgood song!!

Great song, I'd love to hear this sung again with all the verses.

Chants of old
I wish I could do multi quotes, but the braincells have gone too far to start learning! Here's how I remember it. "Oh the Y*ds, you should have seen 'em running, Running out the Park Lane End because The Shed were comin', Big Jim and Sammy Skies you should have seen their faces, Running from the Chelsea Shed, all dressed in boots and braces"

Your favourite ever kit
I played for them in the last 1970's, trained on the dust pitch on Eelbrook and then in a school playground in Bagleys Lane, Sands End but I think Chelsea United and Brunswick Boys were the biggest and best clubs in the area. Kojack lived for Chelsea but despite his appearance I never saw him throw a punch at anyone, even me when I had a row with him at a training session in Hurlingham Park.

Your favourite ever kit
John Donner-KojacK! He died of a heart attack a week after having a very near miss with a car while he was on his pushbike. We're you playing for Chelsea Spartans?

Without searching for the video's, were the stripes and numbers at Old Trafford yellow or white?

David Webb
1/6 is 7.5 pence or it was when decimal coinage started but the half pence has long since gone. Webby was a decent goalie too, he kept a clean sheet on Boxing Day in 1972 against Ipswich. My first game from the Shed End although not under the cover. I dunno why my Dad took us there as he always stood in the North Stand?

Way before Rory Delap.........
Pretty much says it all. Nice one.

Way before Rory Delap.........
I didn't go to either the Man Utd or Fulham matches but did go to the Glasgow Rangers one though so maybe that's the one.

Way before Rory Delap.........
Top man, I loved him to bits when I was a kid. I was at a match in the early 70's when he did a demonstration ( any ideas which match anyone?) throwing the ball from the middle of the pitch waaaaaaaaaay into the 18 yard box at the North Stand end.

Childhood Chelsea Fans Within the Squad
I seem too remember Andy Townsend saying he was a boyhood Chelsea fan.

FA Cup Final, Chelsea vs Everton, 30th May
Not if there was a tube tunnel they could leg it down nearby.

1970 SF v Watford
I watched it last night too. Amazing how Hudson and Cooke controlled the ball so well on it, just goes to show what great players they were. Even Houseman has great moments and a couple of poor ones, sort of like an olden version of Malouda!

Where does your loathing lie?
At the time I was still in the Scouts and managed to cadge a lift in the van for me and my best mate who I 'invited' with the Scoutleader, his wife and young son who went all over the place with Chelsea usually scarfed up to the hilt. Luckily they didn't for this one and we arrived at the Ilderton Road End turnstiles at about 1.30 where the queue was nothing but Millwall. As we went in you could see the two evenly matched mobs in the CBL and I turned to mate and whispered "effing Hell John, we've taken Millwall!" It wasn't to last as from all around the ground they were hopping over fences unopposed until our lot up there were completely surrounded and eventually legged it across the pitch into the Ilderton Road End only to be followed across it by Millwall from all sides and attacked again. A lot of Chelsea stayed though as we had a disallowed goal and loads went up as the ball went in. We hardly spoke during the match although I did hear the scout leader whisper "cowardly c*nts" to his wife as they came across the pitch, they were a church going family too! The one thing that sticks in my memory though is Abba's Dancing Queen which they must have played half a dozen times before the match and during half time and everytime I hear that song I think of Millwall away. Thankfully we got away in one piece and the van was still there. I did hear rumours soon after that other teams firm's had joined up with Millwall that day but one thing you can be certain of with Millwall is that if the opposition is game on thier patch then they don't need help Innocent fans did get caught up, some of my mates didn't want to know. One time we were at St. Pancras coming down the steps onto the main road outside Kings Cross after we found out our match at Forest was postponed. As we got to the bottom some bloke was shouting "Don't run, don't run" and we looked up to see about 200 Newcastle who were playing at Palace decked with flags and hundreds of scarves each coming across the road at us. We stood thinking this is it, serious beating coming up when all of a sudden they were on their toes and our ten or so who had stood chased them right back through King's Cross station, along the platforms and some even ran and hid on stationary trains!. We were pi55ing ourselves, patting each other on the backs and singing but still wondering what had happened. We got outside and met a coach load of Chelsea nutters who just happened to have pulled up outside who we hadn't noticed, it all happened so quickly.
