  1. What part of that is true or credible though? He's playing well when he plays and the manager is clearly not interested in playing him in the Premier League, how he hasn't had games over Willian and Pedro with the way they're playing this season I have no idea, there isn't even a risk factor at this point.
  2. Put it into perspective. You're an 18 year old prospect, you're already playing a lot for the England U internationals, whenever you get your chance you score/assist. Then you sometimes get to sit on a bench and watch players who are supposed to be our first 11 starters play like utter w**k week in week out, you have Bayern knocking on the door and many other clubs that seem very eager that actually have a reputation of developing prospects, unlike the club that you play for who hasn't really developed one player since John Terry. What do you think?
  3. Who's that Callum Hudson O something lad? He's orite him inhe? Why ave I never seen him before?
  4. I really can't stand this nonsense, it always happens with Liverpool, one player plays well and they're the best ever. Total disrespect to all the great Dutch players we've had in this league, what has Van Dijk even won at Liverpool? It'll be even funnier if Liverpool don't win the league after all this hype.
  5. Like everyone is saying, I don't know how he isn't playing more games. I could only catch the 2nd half and he was playing well, his delivery was a bit sh*t though.
  6. I'll be really upset if he does leave but I won't hold it against him, it's now or never really. Like I said in the last post, I think Hazard is more interested about this deal than Madrid are, and if he wants to go we should sell him instantly. Pointless keeping a player who doesn't want to be here for another year, especially when he'll be going for absolutely nothing, I just hope he makes his decision quickly but I did hear that he'll make his decision when the season is over.
  7. Happy to see Giroud playing tbh.
  8. Yes but who now in this current squad? And are you going to tell me the likes of Drogba didn't have off days? Hazard has been a magnificent servant here.
  9. I think he wants to be at Madrid (which I don't hold against him btw) but Madrid aren't that fussed on the idea of bringing him in. Madrid have FFP to worry about at the moment, for them to go spend a 100 million on a 28 year old they probably don't need isn't really such a wise move. Hazard will not replace Ronaldo and it's very obvious who's left a sour gap in the Madrid squad since leaving, they're similar to us, hungry for goals. I hear the likes of Isco and Bale getting offloaded and I can't believe my eyes, why get rid of the likes of Isco and Bale to recoup then go out and sign Hazard for a 100 mill? Who's older than Isco and a year younger than Bale. It's clear they need to spend big on a forward and a few goal threats. I'll actually be surprised if Madrid do chase him up for that amount of money, they have other priorities.
  10. This post though... This post is f**king mental. Sorry mate but the bloke has won us 2 titles almost on his own, especially the first one and a good amount of silverware, if you won't shed a tear when he leaves when will you shed a tear?
  11. I disagree with a lot of that but... I got to admire the set of balls you have here. I already told you in the other thread that I think Hazard should've scored more goals in his playing career. That's not being unfair to him either, that's complimenting him because of his ability, for the skill that Hazard has he could've gotten double his numbers on the goal tally. Who moves with the ball better than Hazard in the Premier League? Nobody, absolutely nobody, the ball is glued to his feet, but he lacks the drive to be selfish. I accepted two years ago that Hazard will always be pretty conservative in his ability, he's the creator and really bloody good at it. This is also a big reason why he won't solve Madrid's problems, Hazard is nothing like Ronaldo, completely different type of player, they've already got many players like Hazard that create goals for fun. Why get rid of the likes of Isco and spend a 100 million on Hazard? They need somebody like M'bappe that'll actually bang the goals in or at least be a big goal threat. This is no disrespect to Hazard by the way, I already think he's the greatest to ever wear the Chelsea shirt but seriously, I think they would be stupid to spend 100 million on him.
  12. He changed as soon as he got that new contract, he went from youth wages to Premier League footballer wages and since then we saw that decline, he was going out with that lass off Corry and god knows what else. I heard all those rumours aswell. This is why you have to be careful with youth players getting big contracts, CHO... Who knows what a big contract could do to him? Micah Richards a big example at City.
  13. Don't ever change!
  14. I think it's the media effect because the media are now starting to pick on him. He hasn't played well lately but I know what I saw at the start of the season, there's definitely a good player there, I'm not writing him off just yet.
  15. Pretty much, it's good that they'll be buying him, I don't think he'll ever be good here. Even if he has become twice the player he has at Milan, there's too much stigma attached here. I hope Morata goes to do well at Atletico just so they buy him and we aren't stuck with him afterwards, but I know for a fact even if he goes in and bangs 20 goals for them, he'll come back here and it'll be the same situation again.
  16. I rate Hazard more than you do but I'll admit I've always been disappointed in his lack of goals. For all his ability I thought he could've been much much better infront of goal. What Salah did last season is what I was expected from Hazard after his first season here.
  17. I don't take too much issue with him using the word cancer lightly because many people do, it's often used in analogies. I mean I wouldn't use it myself because I know it might upset some people, you have to be considerate when you post. I just mostly took issue with the fact how he started off by saying "I'm not being hyperbolic but... He's a cancer"... Which was just utterly ridiculous, it's similar to people calling Drinkwater, Cahill and Willian petty names when criticising them, so childlike and exaggerated.
  18. Yeah like you completely missed out the part where he used a god awful cancer analogy while saying he wasn't being hyperbolic... Definitely no agenda on your end whatsoever mate, I'll wait for the next time you like a post of someone saying they should assassinate Alonso because they also added "I don't think he should be in the first 11" at the end.
  19. Look in the early pages of this thread, many weren't convinced by him, whenever I watched him play he was very average in a really promising team. He looks awful in the Champions League also, I think we just bought into the hype, the fact that we didn't get Fabinho instead of Bakayoko was almost as bad as sitting out on Aguero and getting Torres.
  20. Did he bollocks, how can you dominate the midfield when you've got less of the ball? Spurs battered us all game and Kane missed about 3 sitters, that was probably our jammiest game in ages where we managed to get the win thanks to Alonso's brilliance. The United game he did nothing of significance but run past their midfield a few times, what did he do with the ball after that? Gave it away.

I take no issue with what you just said, I just take an issue with people who keep saying "But he doesn't score goals" when it's the forwards job. I know given the circumstances it's annoying but it's really a low priority for a midfielder to be scoring the goals, we've been spoiled with the likes of Lampard for so long that people often forget midfielders don't often bang in over 10 goals a season. What we should be complaining about is our forwards being ineffective, not our midfielders to scoring goals. Should we get the suitable forwards and the rhythm in the side, there's no reason why Kovacic can't play. Like I said look at Liverpool, a handful of their players score a good 98% of the goals for them, if were going to criticise Kovacic we can do better than criticising his ability to not score goals.
  22. McEachran was the real deal back in the day, it still baffles me how that 17 year old who played against Marseille is the player he is now.
  23. As far as I know, she's just the negotiator.
  24. Slojo replied to a post in a topic in Football (Other Teams)
What's the obsession with Kovacic and goals exactly? Liverpool are 1st in the league and Keita, Fabinho and Wijnaldum have 2 goals between them. Our midfielders not scoring goals isn't the issue, the forwards are supposed to score most of the goals.
  25. And @RIP Mourinho you lose credibility when you endorse stupid posts like that, that's the snidey reception about players you don't like we were talking to you about in the MOTM thread.
