No Pulisic just as I feared, that's devastating. If we don't get going in the first half, this could be a very long game for us, because we've got no real options on the bench that can change the game in attack.

Sadly we will likely only have wide players who want to play central and inside, even Anjorin does. Fingers crossed Pulisic is actually fit and healthy for this game, we'll need him.

He was actually our only forward who could unlock Hazard and play with him. As prolific as Costa was here, he couldn't do that. The only issue with Eto'o is that he wasn't consistently scoring goals when we needed them. Still a great player though, just past his best when we got him.

Fair play imo, they do have good results over City and their London rivals, I say well deserved. Frank is definitely 2nd though.

Eh? Ruben was unreal under Sarri in tight areas. Before his injury it looked like he was about to take off and step his game up. But a year off from football could kill anyone's career, just ask Jack Wilshere.

Absolutely, rival fans have been talking about our use of loans and how well it's worked when I've browsed rival forums. The likes of Abraham, Mount and James would never be here now if it wasn't for their loans. But you've just nailed it there, it really matters what club he goes to. If he does go to Burnley, his chance of getting a game will be 0, even if he is the most technically gifted and creative player in their squad, Dysche won't have risk having him there due to inexperience and physical limitations (his small size for a start).

See I even disagree with that, I remember the times when Torres completely sulked and gave up. The thing is, I do actually feel sorry for him, Torres got such harsh treatment compared to other signings. Remember that Di Maria signing which was the record signing at the time? He never got the treatment Torres got. Around then in 2011 it was so much different, and Torres was at the butt end of every joke and scrutiny, the talk was always on him and his goal drought didn't help things or give him time to settle here. He certainly had his moments though, especially in Europe, so we can always remember that at least and that's why he's still very much liked by a lot of Chelsea supporters and I hope he knows this. Today you've got players like Pepe who have done nothing and cost 80 million, but you never hear about it, it's so much different now than it was 10 years ago. It's just a shame for Torres it couldn't come around now for him, but as you said, he lost his quality due to injuries, the Torres signing we should've stayed away from. I think it purely happened due to that game at Stamford Bridge when he put in a worldie, if it wasn't for that game we might never have pursued it... But who knows... As for Aguero, we were highly linked with him for years, no idea what happened there.

Sometimes it backfires though. Some Prem sides don't want to play with a creative footballer like Billy, they want to hit a point tally for the season and get as many defensive experienced midfielders in there as they can. We've seen it before when our loanees just get shoved to the side because of it. Not only that, it could destroy Billys confidence. Just playing devil's advocate though, however, I do think he can get a good amount of game time here quite honestly.

I get annoyed with the revisionism when it comes to Torres, he was highly frustrating. I remember when Mourinho finally came in and we said "It's time for Torres to turn it around now, he can do it" he couldn't. Had an amazing, and I mean amazing game against Manchester City though, but other than that, nope. And then when it came to January when we were thinking about selling him and getting a new striker in, he starts playing well and scores 3 goals that month, all in separate games. Once January ends, back to normal again. We could've won the league that year if we had a competent striker up front. Because at one point during February we were at the top of the league, it was very close between the top 4 teams at the time. All we lacked that season was a good forward to get us over the finish line, but we had Torres, Eto'o and Demba Ba...

Salah and Mane are very selfish, but it makes them both very good players. I'm glad he is, Hazard as good as he was, was far too conservative with the ball and didn't take enough risks. Pulisic wants to change the game immediately when he has the ball.

Mason Mount
Wish he would get rid of that shocking goattee he has though

I don't know, it's been bad for a while now. RLC out for a year, Kante's injury record last season was atrocious, as was Rudigers. This season is a little better surpisingly but even then we are still picking up injuries. It's very frustrating... Kai and Werner on the wings with no one to bring on the bench seriously limits our attack, if we don't get going we're in for a long game. And even if Pulisic does play, it also means he's going to be rushed back, a knock is a knock, it's never good to hear. It's always the same process, gets injured, ween him back in, picks up a knock again.

Everton v Chelsea (PL) Sat 12th Dec 2020 20:00 GMT
We could be going into this without Ziyech, CHO and Pulisic all at once. Not very good, likely we have Werner and Havertz on the wings. Only thing is, who do you bring on when things aren't going so well? Because let's face it, Kai isn't cutting the mustard right now like other players are and playing him on the wing certainly doesn't help.

Super Frank Lampard
We're having a f**king nightmare here already. Ziyech and CHO out, and Pulisic picked up a knock... GREAT. It's because of stuff like this why I can't entertain the idea of us challenging for titles, we can't stop picking up injuries.

Jesus... Injury after injury with this guy.

Any game recommendation?
Honestly, jokes aside, it's not even bad bugs wise. I've barely had any. It's the guys who are playing on really high specs that are having issues, their systems can't seem to take it.

Any game recommendation?
CyberPunk, 10/10 so far until one incident. I made sure to give my guy a big penis, looked in the mirror nude, no penis, that's 3 score less, 7/10.

Also we're bitching about how Tammy isn't scoring enough, our 3rd striker who's already got 5 goals this season. Very good problems to have all things considered.
-
Tammy Abraham
He's also not sulking and keeping his head up, always chasing the game. Celebrating with Jorginho like he was genuinely happy we equalised, a penalty he won also.

Chelsea v FK Krasnodar (CL) Tues 8th Dec 2020 20:00 GMT
Well on paper, there really wasn't. You could even see the lack of intensity from some players because there wasn't any high stakes. That's just football for you.

Chelsea v FK Krasnodar (CL) Tues 8th Dec 2020 20:00 GMT
It wasn't last years Chelsea, there was a lot of players who played yesterday that started games last season but this game was nothing to play for. Complacency was always going to be an issue in this game because lets face it, who really cared if we lost 1-0? It meant nothing. If we had the choice to scrap this game we would.

Not going to pick any sides in this argument because I hate discussing politics on here. But you can criticise someone's protest while also defending their right to do it.

Tbf we did stick it out with Kepa for 2 seasons. But I think United might make the same mistake with Maguire, that 80 million pound fridge just isn't good enough, it could take them some time to admit they got nabbed and just cut their losses.
