Marcos Alonso
He's not that bad, not as a wingback anyway. I think besides the Southampton game he's been good.

Mason Mount
Who's that Essendon? He sounds like a player

Mason Mount
I thought last season Mount struggled when turning and holding the ball in the oppositions half, but this season he has improved so much in that aspect. The ball is almost glued to his feet at times. This is what Havertz needs to work on. In the Bundesliga he looked comfortable on the ball, maybe it is just a matter of time (I'm hoping so) but this is desperately what Havertz has to do.

I can see why it confuses you, but it's called being objective. You know when my favourite player has a bad game? I'll say they've been bad. I won't start saying "well at least they're not [insert sh*t player]" or start making excuses. I don't try to let favouritism cloud my judgement. I also don't start an agenda against players who are under 6 foot and don't run about a lot. What did I say right after the Southampton game? I said Tuchel got it all wrong, that result was on him. I still think he's doing a great job though and I give credit where it's due. Not the selective half arsery you give off. Like I said regarding Gol15, you're the last person who can take the piss out of Gol, you're even worse than he is when it comes to your favourite players.

Welcome Hakim Ziyech
That's fair enough. But keep in mind, no pre-season for him, he was out for 8 months before his debut from injury, then he was injured again when he went down against Leeds, just after setting James up for the assist. I think he does have some quality there, but I think fitness and attitude hold him back.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
I thought Jorginho was good besides his long balls. He was very frustrating in that department, always just over hitting the final ball, but at least he was passing forwards and taking risks.

Olivier Giroud to Chelsea
We were 2-0 down in the first half with John Terry sent off correct? How on earth could anyone possibly expect us to win that game. Let's not forget that this game was what broke Guardiola, he actually admitted after this game that it's likely his final game. But Barcelona was still the greatest team in the world at the time. What we did at their ground was just something legends are made of. I remember having about 20 panic attacks after Ramires scored. I could barely contain myself because Barcelona were just on the attack constantly.

Tbf Lemar was never scoring that, the pass was over hit, he did really well just getting something on it. If the ball was any closer to him or lighter, Callum was getting it, he was right there, so I can't see a scenario where Lemar scores that goal. It was good defending from CHO. The mendy situation which was also in the first 5 minutes was again the nervous start we had. Completely unavoidable. I think after that, the game was in our hands really, Atletico will be very disappointed in how easy this game was for us.

Olivier Giroud to Chelsea
Well this season he's easily our best striker. If you look at his minutes on the right, that's basically 11 goals in 11 games if go by the minutes.

I think it's unfair to say the teams didn't turn up. Atletico always turn up, they couldn't get the ball off us or punish us when they had it, it was a well deserved 3 points. We've seen in the past though with United that when we play them, we usually always dominate them and they end up winning the game still. Even the 4-0 game was completely misleading, our youngsters were playing them off the park but each time they hit us on the break and scored. Luckily the back 3 does give us a lot more protection in that department.

You know full well we're not going to be given the benefit of the doubt when it comes to referee decisions against United. I want to beat those c**ts so badly though, Maguire especially the total c**t.

I don't know about that. That was due to a clumsy mistake in the first 5 minutes by Rudiger and Alonso. We were nervous in the first 10 minutes and then settled down. We gave Suarez a gift and he put it across the box, Callum defended it really well though and always had it covered, they squadered that chance. Besides that, they didn't have a sniff at goal, no chances, nothing. We kept them quiet all game. I can't even remember Suarez getting a shot away.

It was a joke because every game we always get that comment lmao, I couldn't resist. But in all seriousness, this is a very hard game. I thought Lampard got a great result against them early in the season and learned from his mistakes, you can't let United break you on the counter.

Welcome Hakim Ziyech
I hope so, when he first came and after watching a lot of his videos his passing range and vision looked absolutely sublime, criminally underrated even. Lately it doesn't look like the real Ziyech to me. When he first came he looked the real deal, we need that man back. Because I honestly think that Ziyech is our best passer and creative player by far.

Olivier Giroud to Chelsea
If you were to give me every single season under Roman Abramovich and asked me, which year is the most unlikely year we win the Champions League, it would've been then 2012. Even our team after the transfer ban I would've been more confident with, or Jose's disaster of a 3rd season. That 2012 side to do what they did then, was just insane, it was fate.

I agree, they didn't have a sniff at goal either, not one chance the full 90, that must be respected. But I can see why people are frustrated, because it's been the way we've been since Sarri. We can keep the ball very well, have about 70% possession but do absolutely nothing with it. I do think we were trying, but the final ball was just over hit. I don't think Jorginho had a bad game, I think that's harsh, but his final ball was always over hit. The vision and effort was there, the product wasn't. He saw a great opening with CHO coming into the box, had he just not overhit that by a fraction, that could've easily been a goal, all it takes is Callum to square it and boom, Giroud 1-0 in the first 45. I don't agree that we're not creating chances though, December and January we weren't, but besides the last two games and the Wolves game, we have been creating chances again. But when we do create them, we miss them.

Tbf I would analyse who is saying that and contradicted themselves later on. The people praising Tuchel calling it a tactical masterclass, well I doubt they were complaining much about his endless passing. First half, I think many of us were frustrated. Irrationally and rationally. Irrationally because we miss the context, this is a great Atletico side running away with the league, Simeone always turns up to these big fixtures so realistically we should've been very thankful for how well we were doing. Rationally because for all the possession we had, we just weren't doing enough with it, and you felt that all it takes is one counter and it's all over. The number of times we played in the perfect ball only for it to be over hit was so frustrating. Jorginho especially, good vision, but the final ball was always over hit. I was happy/frustrated after the first half for those reasons above. After the game though I was ecstatic because I didn't predict this result or performance, I went into this game with no expectations, well... I expected a 2-0 loss and a sh*tty performance from our end. I've been dreading this game since we were matched with Atletico.

Atletico Madrid v Chelsea (CL) Tues 23rd Feb 2021 20:00 GMT
Teams have came to score against us to be fair, this isn't true. The teams that have sat back and tried to counter us are Wolves, Spurs and Atletico. Every other team, Burnley, Sheffield, Barnsley and Newcastle all came to play and tried to score goals. Atletico have no choice but to come forward now and try to score goals, we have the advantage, now they'll be more open. However, the tie is far from over, I wasn't confident about this game going into it at all, so I know the threat Atletico have. They'll be in shock at how badly they played against us, they'll definitely be fired up next game.

Atletico Madrid v Chelsea (CL) Tues 23rd Feb 2021 20:00 GMT
But let me guess, before the game you said this is his first big test? Give some credit where it's due, we just made one of the best sides in Europe look like a Championship team. Any goal conceded can be seen as a "mistake", we were constantly in their box, something was bound to happen eventually and it did, they paid the price.

He's got Tuchels nudes now. Southgates, Lampards, Tuchels, who's managers cock is he going to store on his harddrive next?

Atletico Madrid v Chelsea (CL) Tues 23rd Feb 2021 20:00 GMT
Suarez what a f**king c**t that man is honestly, I absolutely despised him at Liverpool, and this game reminded me why. I'm glad he's gone from our league, horrible little c**t. How does he always get away with it? A blatant kick towards Azpilicueta, similar to what got David Beckham a red card at the World Cup knockout stages over 20 years ago and somehow he doesn't get sent off or it. Then again, antagonizes Rudiger, clearly tries to pull him down, once again he gets away with it not even a booking. He actually never had 1 red card during his whole career at Liverpool, astonishing. Another worthy shout was that c**t Koke, was constantly in the referees ear all night telling him to card every one of our players. Disgusting display, how was he allowed to do that? Spanish clubs are always the same, I hate playing against them for this reason.

I went for Mount, I thought Kovacic and Christensen were superb also though.
