Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
Well we only beat every other team because they were sh*t, sat back and basically wanted to be beaten. So if we do somehow beat Atletico, I'm sure the narrative will be "Yeah well they're out of form this month, they've dropped points lately".

Did they really have to show the 4 sh*ttest players of the season? What a way to get hyped! Thanks Chelsea!!

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Wasn't just Sarri though. Hazard did that for Mourinho aswell when we won the league. Especially after that 5-3 Spurs game and we shut up shop for the rest of the season. Hazard was winning us games on his own, it was always through his individual brilliance we were creating goals, without him we would've been f**ked. Conte it was a bit different, Pedro came into his own and was actually performing to a better standard than Hazard was. Pulisic last season was that type of player, he was changing games for us and being the one to rely on, right now we can't rely on him at all and you can tell that's been a big difference this season.

Welcome Hakim Ziyech
Tell that to the people who have a huge problem with Jorginho-Kovacic playing together.

I'm sure you're absolutely livid at the prospect of Tuchel failing aren't you.

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Pulisic goes for the shot every now and then. I mean don't get me wrong, I do agree with you, we don't shoot enough. But in all fairness, I don't want Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante trying their luck that much out of the box anyway, not those 3, Kovacic especially, he can't shoot for nuts.

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
I mean tbf... Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante aren't really known for scoring long range goals.

Following our Nearest & Dearest Rivals 2020/21
Speaking of Jose, I never swalloed this narrative that Salah was a bad player for us. He was pushed aside for absolutely no reason and was forced to play in cup games only. I thought Salah in his first few months at the club looked very good whenever he played, the Stoke away game we saw his class, Jose just favoured Willian 3 assists a season because he ran a lot and worked hard. At the time, none of us could question Jose's judgement, but now, looking at how bad he is, I think we can more confidently say Jose got many things wrong here. KDB and Salah especially, almost criminal. I know I know... Nobody wants to bring up those old debates again, but still, I think what Luis said here is very interesting. I can't see Jose being a success at Spurs.

Having a better CV means you get more time, not less...

Marcos Alonso
Maybe, but besides the first two months he was here, what has he done going forward? I can hardly even remember him putting in a cross. He gets the ball, cuts inside, ignores his winger, then passes to a midfielder, rinse, repeat. He has more pace than James, yet James is making far more crosses and getting into better positions. Same with Alonso.

Marcos Alonso
Chilwell was underperforming long before Tuchel came in lets be honest here. His performances took a turn in December and he's been quite average since then, very frustrating going forward especially. The one thing I like about Alonso, is that his link up play is much better, despite his obvious limitations. Chilwell is like Emerson going forward, offers hardly anything.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Well he's Tommy Tactics according to you, so which is it?

Still though, not a single win... Terrible that. But f**k me do we get unlucky in draws.

Next new Striker
I'm convinced we could sign M'Bappe or Haaland and they would immediately turn sh*t regardless. The striker curse at Chelsea has destroyed my confidence in forwards. I've seen far too many flops here.
-
Marcos Alonso
No reason to keep Alonso for longer than what's on his contract. His performance against Southampton is exactly why so many people dislike him, and we didn't even get to see his defensive limitations. But the sad part is, he's still a better option on the wingback than Chilwell is. That really depresses me.

Tiémoué Bakayoko
You could argue it also was in the 00's, AC Milan always bossed Europe, very hard team. Inter Milan, under Jose especially were also a very difficult team. In about 2011 it all changed, mostly money, the Italian teams just couldn't attract the top talents anymore, the two Milan teams especially are a shadow of what they once were.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
There's really nothing worse than Jorginho debates on this forum, and the worst part is, it's not even because of Gol15.

That's actually disgusting. Surely that's not true??

He's having the season of his life, Barcelona were stupid to get rid of him. He's currently the top scorer in La Liga with 16 goals. They wouldn't be so far ahead in the league if it wasn't for him.
-
Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Because he covers for Kovacic. Does Kovacic play better next to Jorginho, or Kante?

Don't know about that, have you seen our next 7 fixtures? I would keep it for the time being.

Timo Werner
Same here, I had no idea what he was about, just heard lots of hype. Statistically he was one of the best strikers in Europe, now that he's here I'm hearing different things from avid Bundesliga watchers. This is apparently what you get, he's known to miss a lot of chances, but he's good when he can run onto the ball. No idea why we've signed him then, we've never played that way, even under Lampard he liked possession attacking football, controlling the game. If Werner can't play as our main striker, what's the point in this? I see no future for him really, I prefer Pulisic/CHO on the wings than Werner, 1 goal in 15 goals is not good enough, and some of the missed chances this season have been an absolute joke.
-
Timo Werner
This transfer window has potential to top Conte's disasterous window when he signed Morata, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zappacosta, Emerson etc. It's only Silva and Mendy who've shown their worth so far, some could say Chilwell, but a few month of good form doesn't justify a 50 million price tag. The other three seriously need to buck their ideas up.

Atletico Madrid v Chelsea (CL) Tues 23rd Feb 2021 20:00 GMT
Not confident at all, handling Jao Felix and Luis Suarez? We've got our hands full. They did lose to Levante but they should've won the game, they by far look the strongest side in La Liga at the moment. I would say they even look better than the time they knocked us out of the Semi's, they won the league then. Be interesting to see who Tuchel goes with in this game, I have no idea who he's picking, I think he played Kante for a reason, we'll likely see Kante/Kovacic again.
-
Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Kante didn't play bad, but he offered next to nothing in attack, and Kovacic didn't look like the same player. Jorginho stays deep while Kovacic can get forward, they have much better chemistry. Kante/Kovacic just doesn't work that well. I think we missed their partnership more than a lot of people would care to admit. Although in fairness, it didn't help with having stale wingbacks with no pace and Kurt Zouma doing an absolute blunder at the back.
