To be honest, I will be shocked if Liverpool eliminate Barca. I know Barca ain't as good as they used to be but Messi always give then that edge over any team. I know that there is some desperation on here by some (including myself) hoping that Liverpool don't win the CL. But the harsh fact is, they are the best team left in the competition. Barcelona are a very good side, but they are not the Barcelona of old. And I'd go as far as saying that this Liverpool team would give the old Barcelona a run for their money. All we can do is pray hard to the football god, that good prevails and the Scouse get hammered!

Don't know whether I'm bothered or not about this potential ban. Regardless of who is manager next season, some of the youth we currently have out on loan need to be part of the squad next season. Lets be honest, the clubs latest purchases have been poo! And the likes of James, CHO and Tammy at least need to be given the chance to prove themselves!

What I would love to know is, have we as a club still got the money to dine at the 'top table' any more. City have a nation funding them, which we can't compete with. Liverpool and United have far more income than us. Even Spurs and Arsenal have their extra stadium income to rely on. Does Roman still have deep enough pockets to dig us out of this hole?
