I cannot help but feel a bit sad that this win for us puts the ratmunchers at the top  of the table.

I love Sarri I've hated reading about him being another Scolari this week .. I didn't like scolari he always reminded me of a bent politician in a film about cocaine .. infact it's a film called the business set in Spain I think with Danny dyer .. there's a gay mayor or something that lets them smuggle coke in exchange for a rent boy haha and looks like big phil .. 
 
Sarri is pure genuine and class tho love his pressers.

I'd just likely point out Barkley and RLC when they came on was both very good.. barkleys first touch and he lost the ball and I was cursing going mad thinking he'd manage to lose us the games and lift us-cheek should of came on instead of him but Barkley was brilliant and so was RLC .. kovacic was really good too and so was Kante!  so I'm still non the wiser what the best midfield is haha 

Maybe first half but we bossed them second half!! Amazing performance! Can not wait to leave a lengthy analysis of the game on here tomorrow. I’ll be calling out a few numpties. Hate to say I told you so...

Superb win. We found our stride second half, the first can be forgotten as a nervy story of containment.
Luiz, Rudiger and Azpi were excellent, and Alonso was solid second half. The movement and energy levels from the front three was superb also, justified that selection entirely, we looked very dangerous on the break.
Thought Kante and Jorginho grew into it after nervy starts, Kante in particular had a great 2nd half. Kovacic looked the most comfortable of the three first half, hopefully the injury's not too serious. But to be fair, Barkley and Loftus Cheek stepped up in what had to be a difficult game to join late, both very good alternatives for that role.
Split between Azpi and Luiz for MOTM for this, both led the team so well. Delighted with this result, hopefully shakes off the dip in form, and reiginites the faith in this promising system we're growing into!

It seems the reports of our demise were premature then, good job our players and manager have bigger balls than a lot of our fans who gave up on the team.

How many times has this club stared into the abyss since the turn of the decade only to turn up something truly special?

Just an utterly magnificent result against a side that has steamrolled almost everything in its wake. 

As for Sarri, he's shown, even if it is for just this one evening, that he's no Scolari and that he does have a Plan B when things aren't working. The players took a little while to grow into the false 9 but by the end of the second half were executing it magnificently and actually got more shots on target than City.

Well Sarri can now say he has beaten Pep and we are back to 3rd, well played chaps!

Totally deserved in the 2nd. Excellent from everybody but Dave, Luiz and Kante were superb. What a feckin turnaround from the Tottenham performance.
