I don't doubt Pulisics work ethic. I'm sure he tried very hard in training. I doubt his talent. In terms of natural ability and physical tools the lad is as ungifted a footballer that we've had in decades and we've seen it over a long period of time. Broja is unpolished but needs to be unleashed, just signed a new contract so on a high with a point to prove and actually performed in the last game. With both Mount and Havertz out and Auba not ready there was no better opportunity to start Broja. If he isn't starting this game when will he start?

Awful starting 11. Do you remember the days when players had to play their way into the starting 11 by looking sharp whenever they came on? Absurd to reward a player that has been our worst player every time he's came on this season with a start while not giving one to Broja who's looked bright when he came on.

Apparently they grease the grass at the RWB position. Probably should have been sent off for persistent fouling after losing the ball in dangerous positions. Yet again another refereeing decision goes again us.

I can assure you I'd never turn down the opportunity to sign another winger while Pulisic is at the club. Any winger. At any price.

I'm not convinced by Broja at all yet. But he's definitely worth a start now given he's the only forward we have on the bench who can displace Mount and Havertz until Auba is avaliable. Hopefully he starts off strong and really cements his place in the team! Good luck Armando

I thought Boehly was putting a stop to our policy of extending the contracts of deadwood to loan them out.

We should give him the number 10 shirt to apologise and bring him back into the squad. Still the best finisher at the club with the possible exception of Auba. It's just every other part of his game that lets him down but I like Michy, goalscorers like him will always attract interest. Possibly so much the admin team can't handle all his paperwork.

Many of the players we've brought in are quality players no doubt but It's almost physically impossible not to improve a squad with a net spend of over 200m in one summer. The real question is that given what we've spent are we really any closer to challenging for the title over the season or even solidifying our place in the top 4? For all the money we've spent we still have so many glaring holes and deadwood around the first team it's hard to call the window a success.

I remember a couple years ago someone bet on Lingard not to score or assist a league goal all season. In the end it took him until the last day to sink that bet. Wondering if any bookie will quote me a price on Pulisic to go one step beyond.

Now the dust has settled on our window what does everyone think?

One of the worst Windows I can ever remember a club having. Once Auba signs we'll have spent over £250m. A quarter of a billion pounds. A net spend over £210m And the squad is no stronger than it was last season. We still have an aging injury prone midfield where 2 of our main players contracts are expiring next summer. We still have the worst set of forwards in the top half with no decent right winger. We still have the worst set of keepers in the top half. We've thrown an awful lot of money around but we've not closed the gap on any of the teams above us. If anything we've gone backwards.

Could play a 3-4-3 in the hospital FC team Pulisic - Auba - Ziyech Kante - Kovacic - Zakaria - Loftus Cheek Chilwell - Thiago Silva - Reece James. Kepa/Mendy Doesn't matter which as they both play like they have injured wrists.

Depay not joining has taken our window from a 6/10 to a 4/10 and I don't even rate him that highly. How has an elite club spent over a quarter of a billion pounds on players and still ended up with a pair of wingers that have never had a good season in their entire careers outside the Dutch league in 9 attempts. Shocking stuff.

Good job we're not doing the same. It would never get off the ground. Auba should be back in 3 weeks, Sky are atrocious now.

Maybe the reason it's taken us until deadline day to look at a physical DM is because Tuchel thought Jorginho was one the way he manhandles the rest of the sicknotes and midgets in our midfield in training.

We've really missed her shrewdness this summer. Last seasons window of Lukaku for £100m and Saul was the stuff of legends.

Sancho was a consistent goal scorer/assister at Dortmund tbf. We signed the guy who was being benched by Sancho. The only attacker guy who couldn't buy a goal or assist there. Even Batshuayi was scoring more than 1 every 2 games at Dortmund.

The fee is low But the lad is far closer to Mceachran mark 2 than KDB. He's too light weight and hasn't shown anything since the week he performed against Liverpool and Everton.

He's too old to run that far. Would be out for the season if he tried it.

Far better than our own 58m Dortmund reject tbf Seems like every attacking player scores a ton of goals for Dortmund before moving other than the one we actually signed.

Would have been great for us but we've not gone for him apparently. Still with him being on a free next summer the door is still open for the future. I'd prefer Zaha. But Depay is a forward that isn't Christian Pulisic so naturally I'm all for this deal. He's a decent goal scorer and is occasionally brilliant so on a free I think he'd be a massive coup.

Sangarè plays in league where Mikel would have been one of the best attacking midfielders.
