Delighted with the performance :o Deco easily MOTM. Every player played great IMO, but he was on another level. Seems a bit reluctant to shoot though.... Di Santo looks great! But, on the website, Scolari says he's one for the future, not the present - Source. Bit of a bummer :(, he should still make a few appearences though I hope :)

I've seen Wall-E and it is a great film. Mini-Loz should definitely enjoy it :D

Good to see Ballack back aswell :D Interesting to see who Scolari picks as his midfield... ........Essien ..Ballack......Lampard .......Deco ? or something completely different?

SSn did this graphic thing comparing today's sides (us vs the pharmactists & mancs vs pirates) they're average age was 26, ours 28.5 but I didn't see it as true. The manc side had 3 youth players in it, if his first team played in it, ity would've been the same as us, probably more. But the fact is, he's saying that we have an old squad when the average age of his team is only minorly less than ours when he's got 3 20 year old's playing? Take them out, it shoots up. Hypocrite.

This might not be a bad thing, because he's deluded enough to think that we won't compete against them, we'll just creep up behind then and steal the glory :D And aswell, we play the mancs pretty early in the season, if he's saying we won't be a threat, he'll field a poor side and we'll kick the hell out of them! Probably won't happen, but you never know...

Mostly looking forward to watching Bosingwa, Deco & Di Santo, should be interesting, especially for Di Santo....

So we're going to get at least 1 more season out of him, basically. If it is his last, I hope it's his best B)

Well, it's been 5 days since Drogba said he'd decide his future in 10 days...and so far nothing has happened. Ugh, we'll have to wait till Saturday at the latest until he says whether he's staying or not :D Make up your mind, DD!

Hopefully thats a sign that it's not true...but it's weird stories like this have happened a lot. At the beginning, we went in for him and he says he wants to stay with Real. Then, a few days later, Robinho's agent comes out and says he wants to leave and team up with Scolari again. Then there's another story saying he wants to stay, then another saying he wants to leave, then Kenyon comes out and says we're having discussions and now this happens... I just don't know what to believe anymore...

The 'disgust' comments by DD need to be cleared up. He left Marseille after a year of phenomenal success, when he'd made the breakthrough from unproven and unknown player with talent to a real hot property. He loved the club and its fans and wanted to stay there. Chelsea offered mega bucks that Marseille couldn't afford to turn down and he was sold against his wishes. Nothing against Chelsea, he just wanted to stay where he was happy. He felt used and exploited as they'd sold him as a commodity and not respected his wishes. That was what disgusted DD - not Chelsea. You are twisting his words. It took him a long time to settle at the club and he got terrible stick, from his own fans as well as the media. Jose stuck by him and knew he was a fantastic player who'd come good, although DD had his doubts as he'd only really had one good year in his career - he was a late developer. IMO he's never really settled in London and has always intended to move on - sacking Jose made that desire pretty firm. He'd go if he got a good offer from a big club, but if he doesn't and the club make it clear we want him I think he'll be happy to stick around.

We all know that Drogba had a pretty awful season last time out, but Scolari is well known for bring ing out the nest in people and not taking any moodyness and complaining. Keeo Drogba to see how he does under Scolari, if he's awful, please, continue to slate him :lol:. But, if he's uberly amazing, guess who'll be eating there words with me looking onwards with a very, very smug face?

1. Overall, not bad. 2nd in 3 out of our 4 competitions. Not bad at all considering we had a terrible start. 2. Riccy, by a long shot. Ballack in a close second. 3. In fairness, you were nion unbeatable. CL final though...bit on the lucky side... :lol: 4. Must be Ronaldo. He's a whiny git, most of the time, but you can't deny he's got talent. 5. With Big Felipe, should be very productive indeed. He's already trying to bring in Kaka and Robinho, should be a very interesting season :lol: 6. Leave - Malouda, Ben Haim & Pizzarro. Never did anything. Belletti aswell as we've now got 3 RB's, with him being the worst, to be fair. Join - Kaka & Robinho would be much appreciated.

No Robinho, even though it looks like we're more likely to sign him than Kaka?

Wow, I just realised. If we get Eidur back (which is HIGHLY unlikely) he's already had the pleasure of playing with Deco, so that'd be a great partnership from the Barca days
