Chelsea Vs Ac Milan - Railway Cup
I agree, he's used his pace a lot, broken away from the defence and been on the shoulder of the central defender, everything you ask for in a striker. Only problem is his finishing. Improve that, and he'll be challenging Lamps for golden boot this season

Perfect Training Partner For Swp
The bike trick!! Absolutely brilliant!

Who Will Be Our Final Signing?
Well as Kenyon read the reports on Diego and said he was amzed as everyone else, but maybe that's an incentive for him to look into him, but Diego isn't the same player as Robinho, Robinho is a wide forward, where as Diego is like a supporting striker type. Similar to Deco really. So, on that basis, he's out

This Is What I Want To See Next Season.
We could really do with a strike partnership to match JFH & Eidur. Together, they were a force to be reckoned with. Drogba & Anelka? If you thikn about it, they're not dis-similar to JFH & Eidur. Drogs = Powerful, JFH = Powerful Anelka = Good skill (when he wants) Eidur = Good skill Come to think of it, Drogba & Eidur were a pretty decent partnership aswell. Anyone fancy starting a campaign to bring Eidur back?

Chelsea Vs. Lokomotiv Moscow
Mikel didn't look good at all in the half he played. He got a yellow card in a friendly! Who gets a yellow card in a friendly? (Well, it was less of a friendly than the Asian tour, but a friendly all the same). I say we use the formation we used in the first half, with Ballack taking Mikel's spot. Maybe a diamond, maybe a 4-3-3 with Essien on the right again and Robinho (?) on the left. It really looked good with the passing between Lampard and Deco slicing the defence apart, and add Ballack to that you've got the ultimate midfield triangle! I think the first half was very close to the side that will play against Pompey, maybe with the exception of Essien up front. Joe Cole had a poor half, along with Malouda and SWP. Anelka however, looked strong and really should've scored. Defence was great all through the match, barr the last 15. We can take some positives out of this, more so than negatives. Let's hope Scolari gives SWP and Malouda a lecture on how appalling they were. Lampard, Deco, SWP & Essien scored, Bridge & Sheva missed.

Chelsea Vs. Lokomotiv Moscow
Yeah, there's a final and a third place play-off for some reason. Seville beat AC. Seville v Lokomotiv = Final Chels v AC = Third Place play-off

Chelsea Vs. Lokomotiv Moscow
Absolutely typical. If we can't beat them, how are we gonna fair against AC? Oh and did anyone notice the appalling finishing of Malouda & SWP? Anelka's miss was just a good piece of goalkeeping, but he still should've put it away.

Deco No.20
I always thought Joe Cole was more your Luther Vandross/ Lionel Ritchie-type of player. Sounds like the sort of nickname Wee Pat would have come up with.

28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
That would be extremely interesting.... Cue new topic discussing the "other target"

Who Will Be Our Final Signing?
It doesn't look good on the Robinho front, I'm afraid...Calderon has said they arn't selling him. Shame really, would've loved to see him at the Bridge

Chelsea Vs. Lokomotiv Moscow
Our first serious pre season match tomorrow with some silverware involved with Chelsea, Lokomotiv Moscow, Seville & AC Milan in the Railways Cup. Everyone will have to step up their game slightly and we should have an interesting game ahead of us. Ballack is back for the game, he might start, he might not, we'll wait and see, but it's good to see him back training with everyone else. I'm looking forward to a Lampard | Ballack | Deco relationship with Essien taking over the defensive duties, myself. It should work, I hope, with Lampard's running, Ballack's power and Deco's passing, it should be very interesting to see if it works or peters out into confusion between them, I certainly hope not. Come on Chelsea!

Who Will Be Our Final Signing?
Kenyon should really use this forum to see who the fans want. Seems like a lot want VDV, have we offered? Nope. Seems like a lot want David Villa, have we offered? Nope. It's getting on my nerves that we don't seem to be doing anything regarding the transfer market. Even Spurs are more active than us, I mean, come on! Chelsea, one of the richest and best clubs in the world, are only going for 1 more player, who now seems like he doesn't want to come to us? Players should be queuing up to join us, but are they? Nope.

Inter confirm our worst fear | Lampard
By reading this, anyone would think that you lot want to get rind of Lampard! I know he has been a bit greedy asking for a 5 year contract with a million pounds a week or whatever, but he is one of the only players I'd givev that o! No one does Frank's job better than Frank. Simple fact. We lose Frank, our number of goals drops to the 80/90 region, with him, it's more 110/120. Losing him would be disastrous!
-
Rafael Van Der Vaart
Fair point, but what I'm saying is, we bring Mikel in to play the Maka role, then let the other 3 push up and do the Lamps job. Surely, with 3 midfielders that'll make up the 20 goals a season we'd lose without Frank?
-
Rafael Van Der Vaart
Sigining VDV will mean that Essien/Ballack/Lampard/Deco would have to lose their place in the squad, and if Lampard leaves, then Mikel would surely take his place. Even if we're completely down on midfielders, Ferreira has shown he can play in Midfield aswell, so us sigining VDV would be utterly pointless.

Who Will Be Our Final Signing?
We should make 1, possibly 2, singings. Robinho definitely then someone like Villa, to support Drogba/Anelka upfront, the partnership with Drogs would work wonders I think, one's tall and powerful, the other is small and fast. Doesn't work so well with Anelka, but all the same, someone to partner either of them would be perfect. Robinho & Villa please?

Chelsea Vs. Malaysian Select Xi
Flicky stuff isn't so bad, I only saw him do it once or twice. Just as long he doesnt over do it, it's fine with me :)

Football Rivalries
How dare they. Cardiff and Swansea are both in the English league, why isn't that down? The rivalry between them is absolutely huge. The Championship with them 2 playing eachother twice next year will be hell.

Do We Need Another Striker?
Well, us snatching Berbatov from the mancs noses would be very interesting....but I doubt we'll go for him because Kenyon has said Robinho is the only player we're going for now. I hope we do get Berbatov or someone similar though...

Do We Need Another Striker?
A guaranteed goal scorer is very hard to find. Liverpool found one in Torres and Tottenham in Berbatov, but maybe they just got lucky. With Chelsea, we go for strikers that were renowned goal scorers and the only one that's payed off is DD, for me, as Anelka, Sheva & Pizarro have done nothing. We do need a striker, definitely, but it's going to be difficult for us to find someone that will start with a bang and keep it consistent for the years he'll be with us, a la Torres. Will be a challenge to find one, I'm afraid.

Inter confirm our worst fear | Lampard
That HAS to be good news. Surely.

Swp And Malouda
Should we get rid of them? I see it this way: I would much rather lose Malouda and keep SWP than the other way round. Even Scolari says he wants SWP to stay here. Give him a seaon. ;) Malouda I couldn't give a flying monkey's about in all honesty. But maybe that's just my opinion... Thoughts?

The Dark Knight
I saw it only a few hours ago and I found it absolutely phenomenol. No joke. As soon as the opening sequence started, I was hooked. Heath Ledger deserves the Oscar for Best Actor or Supporting Actor, whatever one he's in, because he was incredible. He properly freaked me out. I reccomend this film to EVERYONE. ;)
