  1. Does look a promising line up, but I think it's asking a lot of LFS to play Franco AND Sinclair. Not a bad idea though ;)
  2. Spot on Loz. I didn't have much confidence in Riccy to start, and always wanted JT and Gallas to pair in the defence as we were unbeatable with them. Now, it has completely changed. Riccy is solid and reliable and him and JT have as good a partnership as any. Add one of the best - if not the best RB in the world - in Bosingwa, the best LB in the world in Ash, and we have the best defence in the world. No doubt about it. Then we have cover for all the positions in Alex, Ferreira, Belletti, Ivanovic and Bridge. Not bad going in all honesty. The best midfield in the world is ours. All we need is a young, solid strikeforce and we're in business. I'm a happy chappy :D
  3. No thanks. Would much rather see Owen than him. Or Henry. Or Eidur. 1 of those 3 will do. :D
  4. I read that story too and I have mixed feelings about it. Cliche coming up. My brain says I hope Anelka isn't injured as he's our only experienced striker at the moment. But my heart wants him to be injured - only for the weekend however - to give Di Santo the chance he deserves! Come on Franco!
  5. I really hope Di Santo and Scotty get a chance this weekend, a lot of changes will probably be made with injuries, hence the number of X/Y ..............................................Cech ...Bosingwa.........Alex/Ivanovic...........JT........Bridge/A Cole ..............................................Mikel .....................Lampard..............................Ballack .....Kalou........................................................Malouda/Sinclair ...........................................Di Santo Subs: Carlo Ferreira Belletti Bridge/A Cole Joey Cole (fingers crossed) Malouda/Sinclair Anelka Very unlikely, but you never know...:D
  6. Mike O's comment is absolutely bang on. Franco can't be any worse than Anelka, let's be honest. Give him a chance at the weekend LFS!
  7. Went for Di Santo, as he was lively in his 15 mins. The only reason I can give as MOTM, everyone was fairly shocking.
  8. Our squad is seriously looking slim. A striker and a winger are a must in January. Anelka is just plain awful, but we can't put our need f goals at the highest level in the hands of a teenager. That said, he looked so much more lively when he came on than Anelka in the whole game. The answer is play two up top, as Anelka clearly can't play on his own up top. With a bit of luck, Di Santo should get double Anelka's goals in half the time...or is that wishful thinking? Two up top, Kalou just behind, Lampard, Ballack and Mikel in midfield and when Deco comes back, Lampard, Deco and Mikel in midfield, as Ballack hasn't been brilliant this season, and clearly isn't 100% yet. Now onto our wing problems. Robinho would've been the ultimate signing for us, and our problems wouldn't look so bad, but as we missed out on him, we're struggling. As many have said, Young is a good shout, but Villa would put some stupid price tag on him, like £20 million+. So I'd go for Joaquin (are Betis in the CL this season?) and Robben. We definitely miss Robben.
  9. Ahahahahahaha! I didn't realise it was October until just now! But yeahhh, Green Day own, fair play :o
  10. 3-0. Lampard x2 and Malouda by my reckoning.
  11. What game were you watching? Lampard completely dominated the midfield throughout!
  12. Arsenal's "beautiful football" was their demise yesterday. They played brilliant one-touch football for a good period of time, played it to Adebayor everyone thought he was gunna shoot as he was clear on goal pretty much, but decides to play a pass to Van Persie and eventually it was too hard a pass and Hull cleared. Brilliant!!
  13. He probably has had the better start of them both, but Kalou's played 2, scored 2. Malouda's played 7 I think, scored 3. I'd prefer Kalou, but Malouda is getting a few good games in, so I'd keep him in and put Kalou on for Joey, who's had a terrible start. ................................Cech ....Bosingwa.......Alex..........JT.....A.Cole .................................Mikel ................Ballack..................Lampard ......Kalou...........................................Malouda ................................Drogba Subs Carlo Belletti Ivanovic Ferreira Mineiro Joey Cole Anelka
  14. I would've done the same. But don't panic, we're winning and he will get his chance eventually!
  15. Ivanovic. Absolutely flawless debut.
  16. I say that you must have at least 4 under 21s in your starting line-up in the Carling and FA Cup, then you can bring whoever you want on as a sub.
  17. Sorry, my post was about Di Santo coming on for Drogs :D still 4-0 :D
  18. Hearing things....unfortunately :D Wait, it's right!! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!
  19. Scottyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy for Lamps!!! Got there first :D
  20. Haha, cheers :D I think I'll keep fast reply open though...hehehe
  21. Uchhhh. Ferreira on for Ballack. Only 2 subs left for the youngsters. :D EDIT: Lofty always beats me to the annoucments. ¬¬
  22. Now, LFS, BRING ON DI SANTO!!!! Kalooooooooooooooooooooooooooooou!!
