Youri Tielemans
Notable mainly for his occasional worldie from 30 yards out. Decent skills, a coaster. Hard work isn't his cuppa.

Mason Mount
Or they wait 12 months and get him on a free. In the meantime, he stays with goodness-knows-what vibes attached.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
He will have been all over the club with a magnifying glass before signing his contract.
-
So Lukaku is a bit of a Bawbag...
He has never wanted to leave Inter. Back when he left, and not now. He took a 30% pay cut as part of the loan deal. I suspect another loan deal. We'll get his book value down eventually.

Kai Havertz
Can't say I blame him.

Good old positive thinking. It, and love, make the world go round.

Not to forget Barca's contract with the head of the referees' organisation to provide ... advice. Kept quiet, under the counter, until it was revealed that the head of the referees' organisation seemed to be threatening to blackmail Barca over the deal. Has any more been heard about it?

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
True. But wasn't Arsenal the preference then?
-
Manual Ugarte
Ditto. Every last word.
-
What striker would you sign?
Tammy Abraham seems to have done his ACL last night in Roma's last match of the season. 😢
-
Kai Havertz
Suspect Kane would prefer to stay in the PL. He's record-hungry.

What striker would you sign?
With a warning to his teammates to avoid sex tapes.
-
Manual Ugarte
Nah. There's bound to be an Automatic Ugarte playing in some league somewhere. We need to differentiate.

We might never know the truth. Let it go, folks, let it go.

Andrey Santos Signs for Chelsea
Currently captaining Brazil U20 in the U20 World Cup and tearing it up.

Yep. He'll do well in Italy. Good luck to him. Plus he'll have Ollie Giroud to show him around, buy him a cappuccino or two.

It's unclear what Roman's debt write-off means in the FFP scheme of things. But he's also relevant in terms of a Chelsea argument against FFP penalties. The government sanctions against Roman and the club cost them revenue. From what I can glean, there are total losses of roughly £270m over the two financial years prior to this one. This financial year's big spend circumvents FFP, or seeks to, by amortisation.

I never liked his bum-fluff mo and beard.

Raheem Sterling signs for Chelsea
Absolutely. That was my point, probably badly made. I don't think he couldn't be arsed. I think he struggled, as did many others, to know what his role was. Sterling worked within a system at MC. He had a role. I'm prepared to wait and see what Pochettino can achieve.

Raheem Sterling signs for Chelsea
It's more than a matter of exactly how many games someone played out of position. There is a bigger picture. There was never anything like a settled team, especially under Potter, even more so under Lampard. Players thrive on knowing their roles, developing understandings. That was pretty much impossible across the board.

FFP works on financial years which end on June 30.. It kicks in if losses over 3 financial years total more than, from memory, £105m. This financial year, Chelsea need income of £120m to balance the 3-year books by June 30. Hence the sales. If Chelsea don't balance the 3-year books, they face sanctions ranging from fines to transfer embargoes.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
And £10 off his salary! Win win!

Denis Zakaria is a Chelsea man! *Official*
This has piled further pressure on the already beleaguered Juve. Zak was one of four players out on loan with options to buy in order to raise funds. All four are back, unsold.

I suspect it's highly unlikely, just more gossip. But Carlo doesn't play a traditional 9, not even with Benzema. Benzema, Vincius and Rodrygo all circulate, creating space for each other, setting each other up.
