Welcome home Super Frank
I think you're right. Along with his man management. Whether he will ever be up to it or not, he's been in the perilous situation of learning on the job. At Derby for a season, where he hardly flattered despite some talent in that team. Then pitched in the very deep end at Chelsea to learn on the job and sacked. Then recalled to prove that he hasn't learned much at all. It's been a curious - and slightly sad - journey.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Under Scott Parker? Who played him everywhere, and I mean absolutely everywhere, from DCM to striker? They fell out in the end and I don't blame RLC in the slightest. Serie A will suit him perfectly with its slower tempo.

He will be excellent at Milan. Serie A is, for the most part, 30% slower than PL.

Odd. We’re finishing with much of the team that should have started. Pulisic aside.

One or two good games beats some other contributions. He has potential, he can only learn and grow by playing. Ditto Mudryk. I can't see the point of today's selections.

Reasons for optimism
Watched him yesterday. Very good. Quick, a lot of skill. Aided by Bayern going AWOL in the second half. Can't see Salihamidžić and Kahn lasting much longer.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
Players knew Frank was only ever interim and they will have been across the Pochettino business. Possibly know more than has been made public. They will likely have respected his playing days, can't possibly have respected the sh*t show of a job he has done in the dugout.

Is Fofana fit?
-
Mateo Kovačić
And his body. The WC flattened him. Rarely been 100% fit, playing carrying injuries.

Who needs to go and who needs to stay?
He's been a spectator at BLK. Benched most of this year, more recently an unused sub. His confidence has to be rock bottom. A couple of seasons ago Bayern offered a loan deal with an option to buy for 70m which Chelsea rejected. Of course he might not have worked out at Bayern either. Pochettino will need to see something very special to want to keep him. On the other hand, what is his market value now?

Koulibaly, Badiashile, Kova all crocked.

Welcome To Chelsea Thiago Silva *Official*
Yup. Just voted.

Lautaro Martínez
They're going to need CL next season or they're in very deep sh*t. Owners borrowed big time from an American private equity mob. Interest rates have climbed and the debt is due next year. If they can't service the debt - ie, find another source of funds - the private equity mob probably takes control. Of course they have a chance to win this year's CL. Well, they've made the final.

Suspect Haaland will start, he hasn't had a feast for a little while. De Bruyne looked tired last night. Probably bench. Not that it's going to matter.

What striker would you sign?
Depending who you believe, Inter are paying his wages after he took a pay cut. I was wondering about another loan fee. Pfffft. The first one was only £8m plus add-ons if Inter won the title which hasn't happened. Still, another £8m will keep Todd in cigars.

What striker would you sign?
James Horncastle reporting that, according to Inter, Lukaku a 60% chance of staying.
-
Joao Felix
Lukaku will be back whether anyone likes it or not.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
+ pineapple for a red card.
-
Joao Felix
Good thinking. The "1" up front remaining the riddle.

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
+ beetroot for late for training.
