Worst player against Roma
Bridge, as he was completely ineffective. Malouda, as he 'did a Malouda'. Lampard, as he just had a real, real stinker. Everything he touched seemed to turn to s**t. You could tell by the look on his face that he's going to be beating himself up tonight.

MOTM v Roma (CL Away)
Mmm.. I think I meant to give him a four or a five. I can't see why I'd have rated him as good as Cech or Kalou in that game :S

MOTM v Roma (CL Away)
I disagree. We're basing this entirely on the fact that Anelka is hopeless at finishing. But play him back a bit, as we did in the second half here, and we've got a world-class player. Get in an RVN-style finisher and pair him up with Anelka, and you've got a title-winning partnership. Anelka made some great chances in the second half, whereas Bridge offered absolutely nothing all game. And look at his record with other clubs... and the small matter of being current Premiership Top Scorer. I can see why you'd disagree with me, but have faith in him.

i would of took it?
Six points from three games and a home defeat to the Dippers? No thanks. Sorry. :(

MOTM v Roma (CL Away)
Cech - Nothing exceptional. Although not at fault for any of the goals, didn't do anything particularly good to stop any of them. Kudos for his tackle on their striker at the end. - 6 Bosingwa - Again, nothing exceptional. None of the tight defending I've enjoyed from him recently, and was ineffective going forward. - 5 Alex - Our most effective defender by far. Some of his slide tackles were just perfection. Although he was caught out of position a few times, it's tackles like that which make me wonder why he isn't first choice... - 7 JT - Massive blooper for their first goal, but made up for it by scoring a questionable one at the other end. Not as consistent as we've been used to, but did cover for Alex in the gaps he did leave. Had no chance with the third goal, and the second was just pure excellence. Bridge - Proven time and time again that he is just not Chelsea standard. Not only was he poor in defence, poor going forward, but he also wasted a valuable chance at a time in which we could not afford to... - 4 Mikel - Not nearly as good as he has been, but he did show some good distribution. Horrible, horrible error for their third. - 6 Lampard - Utterly dire. I don't think he made a single decent touch in the second half. As much as I hate to say this, was probably our worst man on the night, other than the usual suspects. You know we're getting desperate when Lampard starts making hopeless long shots from miles out... - 4 Deco - Reasonably good. Showed some good touches here and there, but our hopeless forward line just couldn't convert them. Pathetic refereeing to send him off, which completely destroyed any momentum we had. - 7 Malouda - The less said the better. Good for the first twenty minutes, then hopeless. Why he is still in our starting eleven I don't know. - 4 Joe Cole - Like Malouda, only without the dramatic tail-off towards the end of the first half. - 5 Anelka - I'm gonna get some stick for this, but he's growing on me. It's perfectly clear the boy can't score. But he's trying. He wants to be there, and some of his build up play, especially towards the end was sublime. He made some excellent passes, set up the hopeless Lampard, Drogba and Malouda with countless chances, which they couldn't convert. He even got back and covered for the defence at times. This was a great showing, we just need someone he can feed goals to. - 7.5 Subs: Drogba - Clearly not entirely fit, but did show some of his old spunk with some of his runs and chances. Still not close to being the player he was last year though. - 5 Kalou - Had some good runs and broke through the midfield a few times, but to no avail. Showed promise, however - 6 Belletti - Worked hard, but a disappointing outing from Belletti considering what we've come to see from him lately. I was hoping he'd try and crack one in towards the end, but sadly didn't. Some good runs down the right, and let's be fair, should be starting over Malouda. - 6

CL, Roma Vs. Chelsea, 4/11/08 19:45 GMT
We weren't that bad ¬___¬ We just made ridiculous individual mistakes, and they took their chances well. Kudos to them for their second goal. Horrible decision to give a free kick for their first goal, horrible decision to send off Deco (I wasn't aware that was even a bookable offence)< horrible decision to allow JT's goal, horrible decision to leave Wayne Bridge on the pitch...

CL, Roma Vs. Chelsea, 4/11/08 19:45 GMT
Horrible, horrible team. Spectacular dive from Totti which led to their goal. Nice second dive from Totti to win them a free-kick. Their left forward has gone down dubiously a couple of times. Joe Cole didn't touch him. Nice shove from Mexes, and then nice whinge by Di Rossi after the ref gave it in our favour... I've been a bit perplexed by JT today. Normally solid at the back, but has made a couple of mistakes today, most notably the poor marking which led to their goal. I'd dump Malouda (and Wayne Bridge if we had anyone suitable to replace him with... ¬___¬), some of his crosses and shots have been woeful, and bring Drogba and Belletti on, switching Joe Cole out to the right. Has any striker ever had worse positioning than Anelka? Half the time he's out on the right-wing, half the time he's behind Lampard. If not, then we could try and pack the midfield, and play a 4-4-2 with Joe Cole or Anelka playing behind Drogba, and bring Belletti on for Malouda and play him out right. I feel we've been the better team, just as usual, we've lacked that cutting edge up front. That, and Roma's persistent cheating isn't exactly helping... ¬___¬

Sack Arsene Wenger
Hmm... that Nicolas "don't play me on the left waa" Anelka sure is a true gent and an agent of the game though... Although he's somehow managed to be top scorer this year. I truly hope he makes me eat my words.

Let's Hear It For Mikel
I noticed that too, but mainly because I was sad that Maka left, and really wanted to see a replacement. Do you think the difference between Maka and Mikel is one of the reasons for the change in our play this year? To a more attacking style?

Spuds v Bindippers
Ahhh! The dippers' luck ran out. Just to see dirty little snots like Carjacker, Gerrard and Mascherano down and humiliated after thinking they were so big is satisfying beyond belief. Come on dippers, Christmas soon, time to step down and let the real teams take over.

Really? Kalou was my main focal point for anger due to "Incompetence issues".

Motm Vs Liverpool
Cech - Had one shot to save and didn't do it. A deflection I know, but when you're playing against Luckypool FC, what do you expect? Bosingwa - Attacks from the wing were ineffective. Ashley Cole - Very very poor. He wasted a very good opportunity, and was frequently caught out of position. In addition, he played a dirty game today and could easily have been sent off had it been Old Trafford. Not fully with it today at all. Terry and Carvalho - Fairly solid, but caught out by passing now and again. Mikel - Kept his cool and made a few decent chances, but was nowhere near as good as he has been this season. Lampard - the one game they come together as opponents he's overshadowed by the pied piper... Deco - Moments of brilliance, but was just outnumbered constantly. Anelka Kalou } All a complete disgrace and not fit to wear the shirt. Consistently terrible and just plain incompetent this season; I Malouda don't know how much longer we can stick with them... Belletti - Not as cool or composed as in previous games. A couple of nice moves in build-up and one hopeful shot which went nowhere, but largely ineffective. Di Santo - Again, good build-up play, but as useless as the Terrible Three in terms of finishing. Sinclair - Anonymous

As a team we weren't so bad. I think it says it all that we had 67% possession and double the shots the dippers had but didn't manage to convert anything. The blame lies entirely upon the shoulders of the useless trio we put up front. Kalou played the worst game I've ever seen him play today. An absolute shocker, and Malouda wasn't much better, although we've come to expect that from him. Anelka was a bit better than he had been previously (see: Champions League Final), but that's still nowhere near good enough for a side that should be tussling with the best in Europe. Get the real Ronaldo in on loan - we have no other choice. He can show our sh*te how to finish, even if he won't be doing much running. Anelka and Di Santo both showed today that they are better at creating than converting, so with one of (if not the very best) finisher who ever lived up front, we might be alright.

Motm Vs Liverpool
I picked Deco. Not for the performance, but for the way he sportingly dealt with that dirty little scumbag Mascherano. 86 minutes in, Mascherano embarks on a series of dives. Deco is booked for one of them, and he doesn't lose his temper, but he helps his opponent up and hands him the ball. Considering the sh*te Mascherano had come up with during the game, that is something to be applauded. A true professional.

I know, I know. But I'm a huge pessimist, and we're playing against the luckiest team in Europe. That on top of our shocking strike force...

Allow losing our unbeaten home record to some undeserving, dirty, lucky, f**king bin dipping f**king scousers!!! And that piece of sh*t Spanish waiter is going to say they were the better team... Scolari best have something up his sleeve

PL, Chelsea Vs. Liverpool, 26/10/08 13:30 GMT
wtf f**king lucky dippers once again ¬___¬ We have 70% possession and double their shots on target, and they're leading through their lucky goal. I don't know what happened to Cech there. Anelka, Kalou and Malouda have been back to their terrible selves... who do we have on the bench? A crock and a kid?

PL, Chelsea Vs. Liverpool, 26/10/08 13:30 GMT
As long as I can still access from home, it's all good. And everyone who's done well against us has packed the midfield. As great as Belletti is, he's going to thrive against worse opposition, as a natural defender, whereas Deco has spent years in the Champions League with Porto and Barca. On the other hand, is Deco going to be able to face up to those cheating brutes Gerrard, Carjacker, etc...? Maybe we should stick Ivanovic in somewhere? I dunno... I'm sure Scolari knows best <_<

Correct Score Poll/bet Vs The Bin Dippers
I'm a bit worried about the Dippers. We've played so much better than them this season that it's some sort of anti-miracle that they've kept up with us. As a result, we could completely outplay them tomorrow, but they could easily ride their luck, as they have done in pretty much every game so far this season, and nick a draw or even a win. That's why I've gone for 2-2.
