The thing about sports is it is always defined as what have you done for me lately. At the beginning of the season if we had been told we'd make the semi-s of the CL and be in the run-in for the Prem during the last few games we would have all taken it. This is not the team of 2011-12 there is a ton of a growth for this team. All of sudden now people have done a complete 180' and this lost has put people into a complete tailspin. If you read people's thoughts today versus a few days ago its a complete reversal. Probably better that we take a few deep breaths before the mass condemnations begin, by the way we still have some big games including one in Spain on Tuesday. Let's wait till the end of the season and hell let's give the young lads some room to grow before we hang them based on the latest results.

The future is promising but our lack of finishing our chances this year has quite frankly finished us. Missing Hazard does not help either, he is the offensive genius that can spark our team in these types of games. We really need a striker or second player of that ability to threaten teams. We can't be a one trick pony.

This seems highly improbable at this point. As others have mentioned, he'd be more likely to go overseas or play in Australia then he would to go to any different Prem team.

The problem is that this is only relevant in the Abramovich era and that's if he allows for us to keep having losses. There are only so many years that we can keep losing this much scratch. At some point we have to be a little closer to 0 in order for the losses to be evened out by team valuation increases.
