There's only one Luis Suarez...thread
Liverpool's statement screams of PR and that only. Look at Liverpool FC doing the "right" thing by fining their player an undisclosed amount and donating it to the memory of those that perished in the Hillsborough disaster. I'm sorry, and I certainly feel for those that died (and were injured) during the tragedy, but Liverpool FC should NOT use a donation to it as ammunition to prove they are trying to do the right thing. Want to do the right thing? Levy a hefty (and I mean HEFTY) fine upon that biting prick, ban him yourselves, and sell him off in the summer. This incident has squat to do with the Hillsborough tragedy. However, none of it will happen because he's the best player they have and they know they'll fall to obscurity as soon as he's sold off. Right thing my arse... Joke of a club. An absolute f**king disgrace and a joke.

The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
Picture 1 - His gut is about to burst through his shirt. Look at the stress on those buttons... Makes me lose my appetite. Picture 2 - Good is not a synonym for bad. I'll just chalk that up to the poor guy being delusional. Picture 3 - Was that before or after his substitutions?

The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
The day that Benitez leaves is going to be a great day for us. I am going to be smiling and drinking until my heart (and stomach) is content. This fraud wouldn't stick up for his players. No statement about wanting to see the incident and that biting has no place in football? NOOO... He only wants to protect his beloved Liverpool. Yup, he's definitely "committed" to us. That is the word he used, remember? Obviously I do not know the meaning of the word commit. This fraud has no idea how to make timely substitutions. Nah, we didn't need leadership in JT and/or Lampard earlier. One goal lead and bring on our defensive leader and captain? Why would he do that? That would only make sense. Instead, let's sub out our best offensive player for Yossi. That made perfect sense, right? Right? Err... ok. Sure, leave Torres on because he has done nothing all match and Ba certainly will not help the situation, right? I could have made better subs and I know f**k all (supposedly) compared to the great Rafa. I'm not even going to get started on his tactics, or lack thereof... What was the board thinking about making this hire? Please, someone explain this to me because it makes absolutely no sense. Our board basically tossed aside RDM who made spectacular substitutions and deployed brilliant tactics throughout the end of the season last year to this bumbling fool who could not screw it up more if he tried. RDM may not have been the best manager or the manager for us moving forward but he is 100000000 times better than what we have now! Have the board forgotten what RDM did in his short tenure? I said in the match thread that if Benitez could stay out of his own way, we would get something from this match. Because of Benitez, we got 1 point instead of 3. It only helped matters that the ref was also inept but let's not kid ourselves. Benitez made substitutions that were going to hurt us. And that's the only thing he truly delivered yesterday... I cannot for the life of me see how we're going to get 3rd or 4th. Get this fraud out of our club. The sooner the better.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 21/04/2013 - short version
Loz, when Ivan talked to the ref he wouldn't even look at where the bite happened even though Ivan was trying to show him. I get the refs have a lot going on but he could have looked and/or talked to the line officials. This was a mistake on his part. One of many on the day...

No worries ES... Depending on what's in there, it might be best forgotten anyway.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 21/04/2013 - short version
If the mods see something that could be offensive, then they did the right thing by pulling the entire thread. There are a lot of things said in the heat of the moment. I had a nice five minute reply typed up with the word f**k in it at least a dozen times... I've calmed a bit, but I'm still pissed off, and not at the thread being pulled but at the atrocity we've just seen on the pitch. 1. Suarez should have seen red and been sent off. He better get a 10+ match ban for that bite, and preferably a large fine to go with it. 2. The ref was inept. Allowing another extra stoppage minute, when there was no wasted time in stoppage time, and making just piss poor judgments the whole match. How he and the line officials all missed the bite is beyond me... 3. Benitez and his awful tactics/substitutions. Subbing our best offensive player for Yossi? Bringing Lamps on so late when we could have used the leadership earlier? Keeping Torres on for the full 90 when we had Ba on the bench (or play both?)? So many questions, so unsurprising how it played out. If we make top 4, it'll be a miracle. Get that fraud out of this club. And the FA better act on this Suarez bite. No "allegedly" or "we didn't see it". The cameras caught it. Look at the footage and take action.

MOTM vs Liverpool
Ivan for me with Hazard a close second. Hope that dirty c**t Suarez gets a lengthy ban... Unreal.

Giroud with a straight red... Three match ban and only four matches left.

So close Fulham, so close.

You would think that Sidwell, just returning from his previous red card ban, would be a little smarter about making rash challenges. Whether or not it's a red, it was not the smartest of moves. Thanks Fulham... Thanks a lot.

Fulham already down to 10 men against Arsenal. Sidwell sent off.

2013/14 Chelsea Kit Rumours
I like the new kit. I think the picture of it with Mata is exactly what I'm going to go with for my purchase this upcoming season.

De Bruyne and £30m for Shurrle
ESPN reporting that we've agreed to terms with Schürrle... http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1415580/schurrle-agrees-terms-chelsea?cc=4716

De Bruyne to Dortmund
This makes perfect sense. Well said. ^ There's a good article on WAGNH about the supposed bid for KDB: http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2013/4/16/4227990/borussia-dortmund-linked-to-kevin-de-bruyne-chelsea-fc-transfer-rumor I'm not in favour of letting KDB go at this point, but I would be option to options. We have done well with some of our recent player acquisitions and it's good to explore those options especially with known deficiencies in our squad.

Any game recommendation?
Dishonored is great. I haven't finished it but I've used the tact of just brutalizing everyone in my path. I'm sure my ending will be grim. I'd recommend it as well. I've been playing some Diablo 3 again. I'm not level 60 yet, but I did get a legendary quiver for my demon hunter for only 5500g. I'm stoked. I'm hoping to score the Manticore (legendary 2h crossbow) for pretty cheap as well and it'll give me a reason to finish Hell and get to level 60.

That too. If I were that incompetent, I'd be fired tomorrow...

That linesman is the absolute worst. Walcott was offside, marginally but still off. So he's wrongly guessed on a corner, gave a penalty AFTER the ref did nothing while staring at the players, and allowed an offsides play to continue. Talk about influencing a match...

Can Norwich hold on another 45 minutes? I don't think so... I certainly hope I'm wrong though.

Champions League 2012/2013
I want nothing more (CL wise) than for Barca to lose. I hope they get Bayern. Bayern might very well be the best team in the tournament at this point. And as many others have said, stop Messi and you stop Barca. Without Messi they are good but not nearly as good with Messi. That's why they hate seeing us, we've been able to keep Messi in check. f**k Barca.
