I don't think there's anyone out there that doesn't want to sign Lampard and see him finish his career as a Blue. The guy has been one of our leaders and the history speaks for itself. We wouldn't have near what we have without our Super Frank. However, as we've just discussed with other possible transfers, no one player should be able to hold the club at ransom. The fact is that not a one of us knows what's happened in the negotiations to this point between Frank and the club. They could have wanted to give Frank 4 years at a reduced wage. They may have wanted to give him nothing. They may have wanted to give him one year at a close wage to what he's at. The possibilities are endless. We just don't know. Lamps age and role in the squad plays a part in the contract that should be offered to him. Maks made a good point of the type of contract I believe that Lamps should get. His salary should be much lower, with the exact amount being decided by the club, to include incentives that would reward Lamps for playing at a higher level than originally anticipated. It protects the club and Lamps.

^ Basically what dkw said. Just to add... You'll definitely want a class 10 card. I personally wouldn't get anything else. Don't get anything over a 32GB card like mentioned. I would also add Transcend to the list of acceptable card manufacturers even though most are fine. I use Transcend exclusively and haven't had any issues.

I agree with what you're saying but for the club to come in during late December and tell Frank straight out to "find a club in January" would be low even for them. That's what I don't believe. I would expect a bit more class, but again how things shook out with Robbie I could see the story having some truth to it. Frank at his salary and his current position with the squad would probably need to take a salary cut to stay or just move on.

It's the Sun. I'm not believing it. Although... I cannot say it would completely surprise me if it happened after how things shook out with Robbie.
