im pretty sure he was talking about that there isn't any racism involved in football, or any other sport over in the US. I wouldn't deny the fact that some players would of heard some racisim stuff while playing in Europe, be it England, Spain, Germany or Italy - it probably happens a lot.

Yeah that is obviously the problem, but if Carlo decides to go with a 4-4-2 this season it could very well work out, atleast I think that is what Ancelottis aims for this season. I could be wrong tho and there is a big chance I am.

I really hope we get Torres instead of City, why would they even need more strikers? as for us, Drogba is 32 and could very well keep his form for another 2-3 seasons but would it not be nice to have a Torres available for replacement once Drogba get's injured/drops in form or retires?

Are you sure we are talking about the same Sturridge? His goals to game ratio couldn't be that good because he often only got about the last 10 min's of a game in the premiership, he is however our top goal scorer in the FA cup where he was given the chance of being a starter. Your opinion of him not being quick is well, weird, the guy is fast, ever even seen him sprint before saying that? On top of that he works his socks off trying to be everywhere on the pitch. He is good on the ball, got some nice skills in the bag and has a powerful shot. Don't agree with you of him going left, left, left all the time. Just my opinion about him tho.

Calm down mate, it's a pre-season friendly and you are already judging players based on a game where the main target is to get match fit? You are saying Sturridge ain't good enough, can you atleast say why you think so? For me he is good enough based on last seasons performance as well as these 2 games we played so far. Think you are a bit to fast on judging them.

Özil was well known before the WC, the first time I saw him was in the u21- Euro Championship in Sweden that Germany went on and won and he already stood out then and impressed a lot of people.

Hopefully we can get the most of him if he actually ends up with us, not really ideal to spend 20 million tho on a player that could end up being a flop - a bit of a gambling I would say.
