Players Who Surprised You
Freddy Adu, was suppose to be hyped up as a superstar and what's he doing now, second division in Turkey? Heh just took a look he's still owned by Benfica they've just been loaning him out since 2007 Giovanni Dos Santos is another whose disapointed, talked up as the new Ronaldinho and while he's showed glimpses of form with Mexico, at club level he still needs to do so much more. Although how much of that is down to bad manager guidance getting him to move clubs constantly or going to the wrong places

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
Man Nike doesn't waste time on the new promos :D

Gonzalo Higuain
Higuain would be a steal at that price but it'd be insane to get rid of him, surely benzema will go first. Unless theyre planning on having cronaldo play as a straight no.9 now. As for gago I think he's a touch to slow, probably better in italy or as a squad player for us

The New Kit!
To be honest that looks more like a keeper kit, but then that white keeper kit looks more like an away so what do I know :P

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
Speaking of a bit rich I saw this in the comments Gee it's not like they sing about it 50 times a game, where'd I put the scouse boom-bust picture again, need to remember we're in the peak of liverpool's season now. You know, now that there's no football to play to get in the way of their delusions

Player of the year 2011

So if it wasn't blatantly obvious to everyone
Grrr I shouldn't have watched the chelsea v uefalona one, got me all fired up again, I actually didnt mind barca those first few times in the champs league we had them where some epic games, but that was before the rebranding. It's looking like 2009 again where I don't bother watching the final

1946-2011 League table...we're in sixth
Is it time to bring out this old chestnut again?? Best part of that is since I first saw this pic about 6-7 years ago, there's only been one season where it didn't apply

Team you despise most?
Being in Australia I can't really say I've had the misfortune of knowing many tottenham supporters and while the majority seem to be liverpool supporters (especially crawling out of the woodwork when they win a game) spouting there usual bullsh*t about being a big team and having all that history. Even with all those games against them and the ghost goal in the CL, and now listening to them tell me Torres is a dud even though they haven't actually watched any of his games outside of a rating on a match report. All that pales in comparison to how much I hate arsenal. From the way they play, just passing the ball around hoping it will just cross the line on it's own. The way Wenger gets hailed as a great coach even though his legacy in reality is going to be a team of flat track bullies that spurned chances at so much silverware. Even if they win the league this season, much like their undefeated season (which I'll begrudgingly admit played some good football) it'll be down to the rest of the teams being sh*te rather then any superiority. Just the constant fawning about the arsenal way, and this is how you should play bullsh*t that keeps getting vomited in the media is so grating, and I know plenty of supporters who are like that as well. Oh and if Wenger is so good at developing talent why has he had what, three English players he's developed in the last 10 years yet barca has 6 in the starting line up right now. But enough ranting for now, let's just say I really hate arsenal and enjoy the taste of their tears when they lose hahs

Chelsea vs Wigan (Prem) 09/05/10 1600 KO
Turns out I was right about Lampard as well Most assists for the season 17 for Lampard (Fabregas second on 15, Drogba third with 13 and Anelka sixth with 10) One more win next week to cap off an amazing season!

Chelsea vs Wigan (Prem) 09/05/10 1600 KO
Just woke up, still loving it and I was looking at the stats I think Lampard might win most assists as well(or tie at least), cause he was on 12 while Fabregas was on 13 before yesterday. Lamps had that one assist on Drogba's first goal (the chip to the back post) so that should bring him to 13 as well

Man Utd vs Chelsea (Prem) 03/04/10 1245 KO
I kinda saw it along the lines of "Woooo we scored... wait there's still a long way to go and we've got a job to do, time to concentrate"

Man Utd vs Chelsea (Prem) 03/04/10 1245 KO
Woo what a game, bossed the first half (How that wasn't a penalty on Anelka I'll never know), second half was a bit more nervy but ManU never really created too much, a few half chances with headers from distance and the like. So tense for most of the second half, I think the only unclenched time was for the two minutes after Drogba scored his goal. Either way thats 5 from 5 against the "big four" from Carlo. Hopefully we keep the momentum up and finish this season with a league and cup double Oh and any word on J.Cole? The commentators where mentioning something about it being a recurrance of his back injury, hopefully nothing serious and his back soon

Arsenal vs Chelsea (Premiership) 29/11/09, 1600 KO
Was definately a brilliant performance. Absolutely masterclass in defensive play, pushed Arsenal out wide where they couldn't really do anything with the ball. For all of Arsenal's passing I don't remember Cech making a real save outside of that one shot that was straight at him. All the boys played well, but I think the scarier part was that we're not even in top gear yet. There was a few times when everyone was on a different wave length (Like Drogs laying off to J.Cole instead of Anelka for example). Which is good cause we know we've still got at least one more level left in the tank. As for Mikel, it was kind of a weird performance, on one hand he got caught in possession 3 or 4 times and turned the ball over cheaply, but then other times he'd have 2-3 players around him and with a few small touches be free and laying it off. Oh and I agree on the Rosicky thing, I don't get how exactly Mikel committed the foul considering he was getting hacked left ,right and centre, but I'll give him credit for keeping his cool and just walking away. As for Arsenal it's the same old story, always building up to next year. The same old false dawn just like last season, they get an easy run of fixtures till they come up against a decent team and get destroyed. We did it to em last year (and ManU in the champs league) and now its a repeat all over again.
