I'm new to this forum and just wanted to know a little bit more about which team everybody hates most? I know it's difficult to select only one, for me it's a close toss up between the Spammers, Scousers and the Spuds, but I think West Ham just edge it for me, with Spuds and Scousers not too far behind them, although I'd happily admit WHL is my favourite away day out with Upton Park and Villa Park not too far behind.

Tottenham without question, but sadly I expect Liverpool will win this poll.

I'm either too old or too out of touch to understand why.

Up until Rafa left,I supported two teams, Chelsea and whoever Liverpool were playing. Since we were cheated out of the Semi finals in THAT game, I have always had a chip on my shoulder.

I've always believed in the saying 'Familiarity breeds Contempt' and I think that is why this recent rivalry is so intense. This is a team that we played 25 times in a 5 year period, and if you throw in the north-south divide and Torres/Joe Cole factor not to mention Mourinho vs Rafa, it is easy to understand why some Chelsea fans may view Liverpool as their most hated, particularly the newer Chelsea fans.

Growing up in South London and now living in Birmingham I frequently come into contact with Liverpool fans so we never hear the end of their 'history' and how great they were, not to mention the mediia seem to wipe their backsides off them.

I hate Tottenham, but have only been a Chelsea fan for 15 years so naturally I wouldn't hate them as much as Chelsea fans from the 60s and 70s.

It's a generation thing I guess.

Tottenham are the club I used to hate the most, now its Liverpool but only because of the fans. Though I still do enjoy beating the spuds more than I do the dippers, I`m an enigma.....

Spuds, dippers, arseholes, manure, wet spam and dirty Leeds. It's hard to put them in any sort of order as it can depend when we play them, how often, in what competition and how long you've been a fan. When we were beating spuds all the time but losing to arse, I think I started to despise arse more for a short time. As already mentioned, the amount of times we played the dippers and the nature of the games has made that rivallry grow. Still hate Leeds, but because we haven't played them for so long I kind of wouldn't mind them coming up so we can give them a good stuffing.

Definatley tottenham for me. When you grow up with so many of them you realise how many absolute pricks seem to follow that club. Ive actually got some good mates who support them but even they do my head in when it comes to football. West ham are another club I would put on the list. Followed by liverpool.

The Spuds are definitely #1 on my list. Don't think that will ever change. I want them to lose horribly every time they step on the pitch. And that's who I voted for.

I would probably say Le Arse and the Scousers are tied for #2.

Leeds don't rate as high just because we don't play them anymore. The Spammers could be relegated, and that puts a smile on my face.

I still hate Leeds too but they are somewhat an irrelevance whilst they remain in the fizzy pop league, made me sick when we lost 2-0 at home to them a few years back. one of the worst feelings ever losing to those farmers.

At least Leeds fans aren't as delusional as Spuds though.

It's a bit different stateside for me, as a lot of people I know support Man U and Liverpool but not the smaller London clubs like the Spammers or Spuds. I'd probably say it's Liverpool for me, the Man United fans in my town are at least civil about our games, whereas the Liverpool fans, even thousands of miles away from Liverpool, are still f*cking deluded!

"Oh man, why did you guys let us get Joe Cole? Him plus Jovanovic, we're going to win the title!"

"Oh man, get rid of Torres, bring in Carroll and Suarez? What a great piece of business!"

Must admit as I have got older I don't really hate any other teams. As I've mellowed, I've lost that hatred for anything non-Chelsea which I used to have in my youth.

I don't like any other team when we're actually playing them and I guess it boils down to who I really can't stand losing to the most? These days, that would have to be Liverp**l. Hate losing to that lot and the reaction of their horrible, sanctimonious fans.

Liverpool , with extreme hatred , i despise everything about them and their f**king precious history .

Spurs are close second .

Celtic , many reasons whi i dont like them .

Tottenham, although the spurs fans dont piss me off as much as liverpool fans in the way that they dont try to hang on to being called a big club by constantly preaching their boring history lessons to everyone with ears.

Really? You probably don't know many Tottenham fans then. You certainly don't live where I live either.

Many people believe that global warming and climate change is the biggest threat facing the future of mankind. They are wrong. If "dodgy 'arry" wins anything major with the y*ds, the world as we know it will end.

Christ. Imagine if they won the CL at the first attempt!!!!!!

You beat me to it, whilst growing up in South London meant I grew up with more Gooners, you only have to go to sh*te Hart Lane or walk down Tottenham High Road and you'll see the place reeks of arrogance and forever going on their double in 61.

Never has a club blowed its own horn as much.

Listen to that Daniel Wynne tool.

Can't stand their fans! Only Spammers are worse IMO!

Liverpool

Why ?

Arrogance

Heysel

Jamie Bulger

Brookside

Hillsborough

Gerry Marsden

Cilla f***ing Black

The Beatles

Thieving

Workshy

Please feel free to carry on the list at your pleasure. If any of you want to know the reasons why these things are on my list then message me and I'll be happy to go into more detail. If I expanded on them here I feel my post may be 'edited'

Spot on.

If we had played Tottenscum in all those CL games, then everyone would be answering one thing here. God, that one Carling Cup final against them lot sure managed to ignite the fire like no Liverplod - Chelsea game.

I hate Tottenham. Liverpool pale into insignificance in their wake.
