I don't see us being arsenal because we need to look at the players missing. Our three main on pitch generals where missing (terry, drogba and lamps). I know we're starting to get ready for life after those 3 but at the moment there's no one that can step up like them, David luiz is probably the closest but we haven't got a player in the middle or upfront to take the game by the scruff of the neck. The game yesterday would've been perfect for drogba to come on and just boss it. Bit of a ramble but the main difference between us and arsenal is they would've capitulated with a full squad, imagine an arsenal squad missing van persie, vermealen and wilkshere(I guess?) and how'd they go against the top sides.

Well bit different for me as I'm in Australia. Only met the odd spurs fan around so never really been a big issue. Few years ago I would've said arsenal but lately that intensity isn't really there so I'd have to go with Liverpool for my most hated. Just sh*tloads of supporters around and the majority have no clue and simply spout the club line over and over (history,champs league, Suarez was set up by the FA etc.) Also the second they do something half decent they all crawl out of the woodwork, probably doesn't help that I'm the main Chelsea supporter they all know, do lately I've had to put up with alot of "banter" as well

Seems like a good long term buy, we're really starting to put together a quality core of young players which should see us well in the long term. As for all the talk comparing us with our rivals, I'll accept the man u one but the one against arsenal and spurs is a load of crap. Last season was one of our worst and we still finished above both, all arsenal ever does is get a good run of fixtures then crumble when they play a decent team and spurs have done even less. And for all those people buying into the spurs hype here's a little stat for you, in the last 15 league matches they've played 3 teams in the top 8 (drew with us and lost to stoke and man city). Hardly the "best team in ingerland" Let's not forget this is spurs best season for a long time and they're only 5 points ahead of us in one of our worse. Oh and let's remember arsenal bought oxlade a year ago and he's only just gotten a run in the team which is probably one of the weakest arsenal teams in years.

Well the only clever part about it is covering his own arse. Gets the fans onside with "king" Kenny and maybe instead of them looking at where he went wrong in tactics or recruitment they'll just blame those lazy millionaires
