A fully fit Robben is quite a lot better then a fully fit Mata at this point. If somebody asked if we should offer Bayern a straight swap for Robben I would instantly disagree though. Mata is much younger, has the potential to improve and one day get on Robben´s level and much more important is not made of glass (As far as I know). Also even though Robben is playing well for Bayern it seems like his character has taken a bit of an nose-dive. Mata all the way even though I really LOVED Robben. He actually ways my favourite player while he was at Chelsea

Let stop to compare a possible 40m transfer for Modric with the Meireles transfer. Meireles is here to offer some depth to our midfield, which it really needs in my opinion. (Essien injury!) Modric would have been a huge improvement and a starter for years to come. Both transfers make sense but they arent comparable at all. If we got Sneijder for 30m or something like that then we could have thought about comparing it to Modric but this aint the case
