That was a cool video that was shared on page 1, its hard to argue its Roman's fault when you look at the insane amount of money spent. Football goes in cycles and we have to accept that. You cant win every single year in a league as competitive as ours. We are in a tricky period by our very high standards, but have reason to be excited. Sarri seems to have a core team that he likes to play, but we need more depth. It sucks to not have Roman there at the home games anymore. That is a real worry. Out of sight, out of mind and all that. Its hard to support with the same intensity from afar...

You reap what you sow. We have been messing about with the young players for far too long, maybe some will actually get a game now. We have ludicrous amounts of players out on loan with little to no intention to ever play any of them in the first team. I understand that it generated money to buy players, but it was all stupidly farcical at a point, especially since so many were winning trophies, yet very few rarely got promoted.

We often give players stick for downing tools / not putting in a shift etc, but you have to look at the managers after comments like the above. Managers can come in, give it a blast and if it doesn't work out, who cares, you'll get the money anyway. Not going your way? Just be stubborn and you'll get sent home with your millions nice and promptly. This says it all about modern football doesn't it? He actually doesn't give a sh*t.

Would hate the thought of a new owner, as it could all be so much worse. I think City can easily blow us out of the water in transfers so maybe Roman is cooling off for a while. I do worry about a few things, the stadium in particular though. Those new stadium plans looked amazing, it could transcend us to a new level for the future and it doesn't look like its feasible any time soon. If we don't do something we will be left behind. We wont be as attractive a pull for new players, we'll be missing out on about £1.5M in gate receipts each home game too without the 20,000 extra seats. Roman has been effectively exiled from the UK and now living / been given citizenship in Israel last I read. The board as well come across as a bit toxic and it seems to feed down to a weird atmosphere at the club, no doubt a lot of throat slitters. We don't know what we are getting each week with Chelsea, it is a strange phase we are in.

I really hope he stays. Saying that, he's been here 6 years which is good service... if he does go, the world will keep spinning and new club legends will be born. In recent years we have lost Cech, Terry, Lamps, Drogba, the absolute heart of Chelsea for quite some time.. although we haven't been quite the same since, we still went on to deliver something most seasons. Real are the footballing apex if we are being honest, even though a lot of their fans are entitled arseholes, it still has huge appeal for almost every player.

He's definitely one of the good guys. Talented in every aspect of his play and he can seemingly do it all.... it's a shame we don't have 11 of him... My only concern is when we are really high up and exposed, then caught in the break, he is nowhere near the middle to stop it, like he always does when he's in the middle...!

First half we looked a bit faster and sharper, second half was grim.

I like the fast paced passing and moving, its aesthetically pleasing, especially if you are getting goals from it. The trouble is it looks a bit predictable and seems even easier to defend against. For that style of passing to work it seems we have to be pretty close to each other and as a result we aren't stretching the opposition, they can effectively stand off us a bit and build their walls. What our style is crying out for are two or three guys who can produce defence splitting, penetrating passes, not just the back and forth 1-2s and triangles. We could have played for a full day yesterday and we'd never have scored.
