Scored today against West Ham on his first match back.

Cracking weekend, hopefully Liverpool drop points too. Please let this be a turn around in form for us.

Well that's how you impress your coach! So happy for him, hopefully he gets a run of games now.

I wish Hazard could just teleport onto the end of his own chances.

Brilliant Schurrle! Much better so far.

Fulham v Chelsea (PL) 01/03/14 KO 15:00 GMT
It seems to be getting worse. I'd be happy to knick a goal from a set play and call it a day. Massive improvement needed.

Good team except I'd have gone with Eto'o. Hope Schurrle makes the most of it.

No Cavani, No Lewandowski, then which striker?
Unless the contract is just about bumping his price up to the £50m band. Atletico are in crippling debt. If that's the case I'd say no, his main attraction is being a good striker at a reasonable price.

Oh yes that's true, but we only made £5m on that. What a terrible window.

Jose seems spooked by this though. When have you ever known him to be prudent in the market? He has actually been making us a profit so far. I can't remember the last time we made money in a transfer window.

I don't get this reasoning at all. Would you support another team in the FA cup? We're not obligated to care what our rivals do in Europe, our coefficient isn't under threat.

Looking like Mandzukic at the moment.

No Cavani, No Lewandowski, then which striker?
There are great strikers out there, the problem is they're all absurdly expensive or already with top teams. We can't all get Lewandowski on a f**king free! We've had numerous opportunities to buy Aguero, Falcao and Cavani in the last 4 years, and we passed them all up to buy Torres. This situation is entirely of our own doing.

No Cavani, No Lewandowski, then which striker?
Mourinho also said that Ibrahimovic is completely out of the question. PSG see him as central to their plans at the moment. He actually said Cavani would be easier to obtain than him. I know there is no obvious solution, we're going to have to pay a lot of money to sort this problem out. But I'll be really disappointed if we go for another temporary solution. We're never going to evolve as a team that way.

No Cavani, No Lewandowski, then which striker?
What is the end game with this line of thinking? We signed a 32 year old Eto'o as a stop gap to replace a 33 year old Drogba, and now we're to sign a 32 year old Ibrahimovic as a stop gap to our stop gap? This needs to end at some point, we need a young striker approaching their prime, not more temporary solutions. We need our Drogba of 2004.

Any game recommendation?
It's like when they used to censor the show, I think the writers just make the plot more outrageous to spite it. Gotta bleep all the "f**ks" but we'll have Cartman trick a kid into killing his parents and eating them over a $6.12 refund for pubes.

I'm indifferent to Fulham but I'm sure they don't think kindly of us. Nobody really does. I hope we batter them in any case.

César 'Dave' Azpilicueta
We've really uncovered a gem here. I'd never heard of him when we signed him and now he's one of the best fullbacks around. I'd prefer him on his natural flank though so he can get forward as much as possible.

He never arrived.

No Cavani, No Lewandowski, then which striker?
He went last summer though and Mourinho knows him better than anyone. If he was our target I'm sure we'd have secured him already. Judging by the recent information we have I think Jose wants either Falcao or Cavani now, it's just a question of whether we can pry them out or not. I can just see that being another Rooney situation where we aggressively flirt all summer and it all eventually amounts to nothing.

Galatasaray v Chelsea (CL) 26/02/14 KO 19:45 GMT
Honestly I think you're right. I recall the signs of how we were playing early in the season against Hull, even Bayern and that looked very promising. Since then it's as if he's changed his mind and put the shackles on in favour of being as defensive as possible. I just wish he'd find a middle ground because I fear we're about to get found out. As you said, the most annoying part is that we've already seen how well we can attack and we just seem too afraid to do it.
