Them Pesky Laws

Them Pesky Laws
Good I wonder if that was one of the proposals that was rejected.

Them Pesky Laws
Unless I didn’t read that properly I heard they were now not allowing goals to be scored for rebounds if pens are saved or hit the woodwork. I hope that isn’t true.

Thing is the CWC wouldn’t have effected them next year anyway as they’re intending to move it to the Summer months. I can only hope they follow suit from their previous attempts at challenging the year after they’ve done close & failed and completely collapse.

Starting 11 on game day 1?
Hopefully mate but it is us, we tend to do this sort of thing.

I fear we’re gonna end up either selling or re-loaning most if not all of our loan army for next season. Given some of the dumb stuff we often do I can totally see that happening.

Gary Cahill - PL CL FAC LC EL champion
You know I genuinely can’t remember ho I felt when we signed Gary Cahill, I know I was never unhappy with him joining. Think he’s been great for us, won everything in the game. Can’t complain at all. Best of luck to him in his future endeavours, hearing rumours he’s Villa bound.

Rank Our Last 10 Seasons
Wow not sure I can actually do this, I’ll need some time to think. I know my favourite season ever is 2009/10 but was that the best in the last decade? Hmm. Take 2011/12 we achieved our greatest success stye CL with an FA Cup to boot but in the league we were absolute to high. 14/15 I’d be tempted to put number one but the football that season wasn’t great post Christmas. 16/17 was great in the league but tainted by the defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup final after.

They only have one extra game the Super Cup, Liverpool have decided not to play in the CWC due to disagreements over the changes made to it.

Rumours are we’re set to sell Abraham to Villa

It’s just hilarious that chant now, what makes me laugh more though is that there are genuine football fans who think history is only winning trophies. It’s really pathetic.

While the season has had many ups and downs I feel like it all worked out well in the end. Sure we lost a final and had some humiliation throughout but we finished above Arsenal & Spurs and we won a European trophy. Looking at our rivals City won the league which was fine because it stopped Liverpool winning it. City did foil us in the league cup which was unfortunate but we put in one hell of a performance and knocked out Liverpool & Spurs along the way. They went on to win a domestic treble no shame in losing to the best side in the country by a mile on pens. While Liverpool won the CL we all know the one they wanted evaded them yet again despite getting a record breaking 97 points. Arsenal collapsed massively after looking to have top 4 secured. What did they need like a point? And best of all they completely disappeared in the EL final against us. Lastly there’s Spurs who went from Title challengers at a point in the season to complete collapse only finishing top four thanks to Arsenal’s collapse. Then of course they made the CL final and completely blew it against a Liverpool sore that weren’t at the races. In the Championship it was wonderful to see Leeds f**k up again not only bottling top 2 to Norwich (C) & Sheff Utd. Leeds also then bottled the playoffs losing to Super Frank's Derby 4-2 in the semi final 2nd leg. Even after beating them 3 times that season and been 2-0 ahead on aggregate they blew it with Derby beating them 4-2 at home. Unfortunately Derby couldn’t win in the final but it was another set of blues John Terry & Tammy Abraham that we’re celebrating as Aston Villa got promoted. In the end I feel like it’s all been a terrific end to the season.

I’m just hoping next season this now doesn’t give Liverpool the incentive to push on for the title. I mean I know City won’t just lay down and die for them but you’d think eventually Liverpool gonna win league and end that hoodoo. Us beating them in the Super Cup could actually be important to halt their momentum.

Name me one save he did that wasn’t standard? As for Spurs they had one clear cut chance from Moura which he should have done better with.

How many semi finals have they reached aswel failing to make the final. They’re the biggest bottlers going.

That’s taking a statistical look at the game though. Of those shots how many were actually clear chances? I count one. Possession doesn’t mean you were amazing either. Liverpool got an early and looked to defend it. Neither team were great or even good.

What’s Hoddle on about acting like Spurs battered Pool, there was like 1 clear cut chance and rest were pot shots

I’m torn do I want Liverpool to get a second and kill the game or do I want Spurs to score so the game is better? I guess as long as it results in Spurs losing is rather have some excitement.

Sarri - In or Out?
It does make one wonder doesn’t it, despite all the jazz surrounding the club we do continue to win trophies.
