what about The Swan across the road from the old Fulham Broadway tube station,i know it wasnt the most posh type of pub,but i enjoyed seeing mates in there,and there were some good bands play in there

cambridge united was pretty crap i went there when we played them in the eighties,and i came to the conclusion that my local team vs rugby which were well down in non league,had a better ground than cambridge which were then in the old 2nd division..........

why is everybody having a go at us for buying a great player like torres?its not our fault he prefers us to the scousers,and if he wanted to come, why shouldnt we buy him,now i hear we might be looked at unfavourbly by uefa.does anybody think we might be stopped from playing in the champions league?if so would wouldnt that make everyone happy who keep slagging us off.

i feel uneasy even if we get torres,it will probabley cost us round about 50m,when we could get two really good players for that,maybe there is an even better goalscorer out there for about 25m,also carlos body language when asked about it,didnt look right to me,i just feel a bit dodgy about it,and i hope it dosent bite us on the arse.....................

if its true that he prefers the spuds,to us,i dont think we should sign him,he sounds like he has a bad attitude,and at the moment it would be disasterous to mix him with the players we have,as they need to have their confidence boosted at the moment and a player like this could undermine that.............

i really think that the solution would be,to let carlo bring in his own backroom staff,and let him run things his way,which i think is apparent he isnt.if that happens i think we will see a difference......................

maybe the reason why he is cutting down on transfers,are because he wants to make sure we are prepared for these rules about qualifieing for the european cup,something these hacks in the sun dont seem to or are unable to think about.i dont really read this rag,but it seems that unless you are a northern team playing in red,you are always wrong.......

definetly would be the wrong decision to get rid of carlo.when he first came to chelsea,he couldnt bring his own backroom staff with him,which most managers would be allowed to,and he didnt have any money for players, but he still delivered the double.i say let him have his own staff,and a decent amount of money then sit back and watch him bring in the trophies,or at least give him time to build a decent side.ktbffh

rip sincere condolences,i can sympathise as i lost my father last october,but to be at the arsenal match shows the measure of what a man carlo is.hope he gets a huge reception at the bridge....
