It takes a certain striker to be able to play alone up front with his back to the goal. It's not only about technical ability, you need good positioning, physical presence and tactical knowledge. I just don't feel he's there yet. Even the legend that was Drogba needed a season to get used to this role in the PL and he was physically much more suited to it than Traoré.

We don't want to jinx it, he's way too talented and on top of that seems like a genuinely nice bloke. Plus this jinx would also mean a lifelong ban from TSE... Playing alongside another striker is helping him, he's not ready to lead the line alone. While coming in from the left could work for him it also restricts him, and we have better players more suited to that position. I hope we don't waste 60+ millions on Lukaku or someone similar. Buying the real Ronaldo in his prime would be one thing, but overprice young talents doesn't make sense to me when we have freely available young talents already at the club.
