I get the sense that, unless he finishes outside the top 4, he will stay until he wants to retire. I think his contract runs out after next season, so it could well be then.

He should be unless they qualify for Europe or win the FA Cup. They are pathetic defensively and have far too much attacking talent not to qualify for the Europa League.

I have a feeling that the game on Bank Holiday Monday will be pivotal for Tottenham either way. It would be the ultimate humiliation for Wenger if Sp*rs were to beat Arsenal to the title. It's quite sad to think that they even after West Ham top 4 was do-able. But having given away two games in the way that we did against Liverpool and Stoke, top 4 is now very unlikely I have to say. I wonder whether it might be better to do a United than finishing in the Europa League spots - Finish 8th or something and thereby focus entirely on the League to ensure CL qualification. Sorry but it’s incredibly naïve to think that Roman wouldn’t sack José just because the fans wouldn’t like it. He did it before and people still kept coming in their droves. This is an innately ruthless capitalist we’re talking about. He won’t hesitate to pull the trigger if he believes that is what’s required. I want José to turn this around, I really do. But how much further can we really afford to fall? Our chances of getting back into the top 4 seem to be deteriorating week on week. If it’s true that certain individuals aren’t interested in playing for him and we keep heading in the same direction then what choice does Roman have!?

I hate to say it but I completely agree. José's exacerbating all the problems with his behaviour. Yes, the refereeing has been nothing short of SHOCKING against us but he can't just keep moaning. I'm really dreading the weekend now. I was certain José would be gone on Sunday morning, he's still here thankfully but now I feel it's inevitable. If the story about this player is true then his position is essentially untenable; once you've lost the support of the players (a la Real Madrid) then I don't think you can recover. I have to say that the team didn't look like they wanted to fight for him on Saturday.
