The name Dave Weeble sounds familiar, which is unusual as my memory can't normally cope with names. I can be introduced to somebody now and I've forgotten their name within minutes, bloody embarrassing sometimes! Much better at remembering faces.

Some of my Old Programes
Ah yes, spent a night or two in there, followed a couple of days later by an appearance at Horseferry Magistrates.

Loyal supporters! Tales of trips to the likes of Carlisle, Oldham, Rotherham, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Preston, etc.
Me and a few mates from Carshalton used to drink in the Wheatsheaf before games, good days. Also liked the Hand & Flower further down the road, but the Black Bull was the best!

I remember that game mainly for the non-stop rucking in the Shed, which I've described elsewhere, the yellow paint was just a bonus. Arsenal never made a serious attempt at taking the Shed again after that day, their days as a decent mob were numbered. Did you and your mates come with us to that match, MK?

"We were there when the fog came down" - didn't know there were any stabbings that night though.

African Cup Of Nations 2013
sh*te football, sh*te attendances, this tournament is held far too often. I can only imagine that the reason it's held every two years rather than four is to rake some much needed money into African football, but I believe it devalues the competition.

Eden v Ballboy
I heard that Bradford City are worried about the final against Swansea, and have started recruiting overweight 20 year olds as ballboys to take to Wembley with them.

Surely the view outside of his window would be the inside of his room?

Something like this?

Eden v Ballboy
As others have mentioned, the little c*nt is 17 years old - certainly not a kid! When I was 17 I'd been in full time work for 2/3 years, been drinking in pubs for 3 years, been shagging around for about the same amount of time, and been convicted twice for fighting at football matches. Yet this little spunkbubble lays on the floor crying because someone took his ball away - what the f*ck has happened to the world? The best thing that can come out of all this is that the incident has had major media coverage, and therefore the nauseating little stoatgobbler will get recognised pretty easily. Let's hope he gets a proper kicking as a result of his actions, then he'll really have something to cry about, the spineless little mother's c*nt.

Hmmm, players that have died - Peter Houseman, Ian Hutchinson, Keith Weller to name just three

All-time best XI
I'm hooked now - tried the same with Liverpool, pre-Premiership (1965/1990 approx), same result - three teams with leftovers... First XI Ray Clemence Tommy Smith - Ron Yeats - Alan Hansen - Joey Jones Ian Callaghan - Graeme Souness - Ronnie Whelan - John Barnes Kenny Dalglish - Kevin Keegan Second XI Bruce Grobbelaar Chris Lawler - Larry Lloyd - Gary Gillespie - Alan Kennedy Steve Heighway - Jimmy Case - Terry McDermott - Peter Thompson Ian Rush - John Toshack Third XI Tommy Lawrence Phil Neal - Phil Thompson - Mark Lawrenson - Steve Staunton Peter Cormack - Emlyn Hughes - Ray Houghton - Craig Johnston Roger Hunt - John Aldridge That third team was painful to select, had to include four players I absolutely hate, namely Thompson, Hughes, Lawrenson & Aldridge, utter scum. Leftovers - Steve Nicol, Gerry Byrne, Geoff Strong, Alec Lindsay, Gary Ablett, Willie Stevenson, Brian Hall, Ray Kennedy, Sammy Lee, John Wark, Steve McMahon, Jan Molby, Ian St.John, Alun Evans, Phil Boersma, David Fairclough, David Johnson, Paul Walsh, Peter Beardsley (he played mainly in the Premiership).

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
I've never underestimated the opposition since the traumatic days of the early 70's - losing to Orient in the FA Cup, then to Stoke in the League Cup Final just a week later, and going out of Europe on away goals to Atvidaberg. Who? Exactly.
-
ossie menswear ?
Not sure about having his own design, but he did own a 'boutique' in Mitcham in the late 60's/early 70's.
-
The Next Chelsea Statue ?
The statue could be made out of solid gold, and it'd still be cheaper than having the real thing there.
-
The Next Chelsea Statue ?
The only player who deserves one other than Ossie, is Ron Harris - 655 Chelsea appearances, most of them as captain, and he put in 100% in every one of 'em. It's also be great to have an action statue of DH or Babs kicking the sh*t out of a Spuds fan.

Yellow paint definitely later than 1969, probably '72, '73 or '74 - remember it well apart from the year!
