I know exactly what you mean, Mike. I was 18 in 1975, had long curly hair, and was surprisingly slim considering how much beer I used to put away. It was a shame that the skinhead style had disappeared by then, used to love wearing all the gear, and I never got into the Casual scene. Apart from my exotic brand-name donkey jacket, Wimpey written across the back - superb style, I think you'll agree, and pockets that easily accommodated bottles of Newcastle Brown. But I digress...my long curly hair is now shorter and thinning, my beard is mostly white, and my waistline has reached a size I can't even count up to - life is so unfair!

Not exactly ideal, but I'd take absolutely anyone as our manager rather than Benitez - with the obvious exception of Neil Lennon. Gus was never my favourite player, as I hated the way he bollocked the younger players like Jon Harley whenever they made a mistake, rather than give them encouragement like JT did/does. He clearly blotted his copybook big time by kissing the cock, something I can never forgive. Maybe he didn't understand the mutual hatred between the clubs, but somehow I doubt it. Now if he'd taken a huge dump into the Tottenham keeper's cap and then wiped his arse liberally with his shirt, he'd be a Chelsea hero. 1983/84 Scottish League Cup Final, Hampden Park Rangers v Celtic Super Ally on form yet again! I was on a drinking holiday in the Highlands at the time, and I watched this match in a pub in Inverness. Rangers fans one end of the bar, Celtic the other end, it kicked off big time throughout the game (no surprise there!).

I saw Chelsea play Surrey at the Oval in a game of 50-over cricket, then a 7-a-side game - part of Peter Bonetti's testimonial tied in with one of the cricketers' testimonials. Bit of a laugh, but inevitably became extremely boring after a while - think I was about 10 or 11 at the time.

Anyone remember the Battle Of Britain in 1992? Champions League - Rangers v Leeds United. Tie played over two legs, no away fans allowed at either game, supposedly. Take your pick, brief match highlights from both games... ...or the 58 minute documentary...

There have been many, many great players represent the Rangers over the years, just thought we should have a place to remember them. Please feel free to add your favourites! I'll start off with the late great... DAVIE COOPER first off, a couple of tributes... and finally, the best Rangers game I ever saw in the flesh (so to speak), the 1981 Scottish Cup Final Replay against Dundee United at Hampden, better known as the Davie Cooper Final. I was so pissed at this game I'm amazed I can remember any of it!

Only thing I've got against Swansea is that 17-year old w*nker of a ballboy. Went to Cardiff a few times in the 70's, and your mob was always up for a ruck. Most mobs defended their own end at home, but Cardiff were one of the very few mobs to bring numbers to the Bridge, and I'll always respect them for that. Feel really sorry for you that you've had to change your team colours, I'd never accept that happening to Chelsea.

I managed to see very brief highlights earlier, and anyone who really believes that the pitch was 'horrendous' has been well and truly spoiled. That pitch was better than most Division 1 pitches were in the 70's at this time of year. You should all go on YouTube and watch clips from the 1970 FA Cup Final at Wembley & Semi-Final at White Hart Lane - now those pitches were truly 'horrendous'! Also look for any wintertime game from the Baseball Ground during the same era, diabolical conditions. We've no excuses for todays pitiful result, other than the fact we've got a f*ckin' moron in charge of the team. I hated him with a passion when he first infested Chelsea, I can't even begin to describe how I feel about the scouse-lovin' bollock-brained twat now!

I thought the tributes that day were superb, why can't the top brass keep the f*ck out of it. They seem to be the only people who opposed the tributes, along with the scum from Parkhead. Banning future similar tributes is a disgrace!
