  1. Why will Juve play for a draw? They will want to win as if they finish first in the group then they won't be playing teams like Barca etc.. Shaktar will win 2-1 I think.
  2. Cahill only one who looks bothered. Future captain.
  3. Cech Ivanovic Luiz Cahill Cole Mikel Ramires Mata Oscar Hazard Sturridge. Subs: Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Lampard, Marin, Moses, Torres. A draw will do nicely but I can't help thinking we'll lose 2/3-0 but there's another side of me that thinks we'll just sneak it. Chelsea narrow win or Juve to run away with it is my prediction.
  4. Mata, Oscar and Ramires on the bench. It can all change!
  5. Long seems to always score against us. Might just be imagining it!
  6. Cech Azpilicueta Luiz Cahill Bertrand Mikel Ramires Mata Oscar Hazard Falcao (should we sign him)
  7. Cech Ivanovic Luiz Cahill Cole Mikel Ramires Mata Oscar Marin Sturridge Subs: Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Lampard (if fit), Bertrand, Hazard, Moses, Torres If we get in a bit of trouble, we have players who are able to come off the bench and supposedly Eden has a slight injury with his achilles meaning that he will miss Belgium's friendly tomorrow, apparently. Torres needs to be rested for the Juve game and I think Cole may need to start to bring him back to fitness for the Juve match which we know will all be difficult. The Hawthorns is a difficult place to go and i'm predicting a 1-1 draw.
  8. Agreed, should we decide to buy an out and out striker (Falcao) do you think this would impact us winning the title?
  9. Manchester City Aston Villa (H) Win Chelsea (A) Draw Wigan (A) Win Everton (H) Win Manchester United (H) Win Newcastle (A) Draw Reading (H) Win Sunderland (A) Draw Norwich (A) Win Stoke (H) Win 49 Points Manchester United Norwich City (A) Win QPR (H) Win West Ham (H) Win Reading (A) Win Manchester City (A) Loss Sunderland (H) Win Swansea (A) Draw Newcastle (H) Win West Brom (H) Win Wigan (A) Win 52 Points Chelsea West Brom (A) Draw Manchester City (H) Draw Fulham (H) Win West Ham (A) Win Sunderland (A) Win Aston Villa (H) Win Norwich (A) Win Everton (A) Draw QPR (H) Win 45 Points with a game in hand I do find prediction threads quite pointless but I wanted to make this one to see where people thought we'd be at the end of the Christmas period and my predictions show that we'd be third, seven points behind Manchester United but with a game in hand whilst City sit between the two only three points behind Manchester United with the same amount of games played.
  10. This. We had very harsh calls against Manchester United go against us (remembering you forgot to put we beat them 5-4 in LC). We dominated Liverpool and should of killed them off but for a very lucky goal on their behalf so not much to worry there, Shaktar are a class outfit and I think to beat them is asking a lot and we managed to do that. The only poor performance in the lot was Swansea away. I think if we need to keep two of the triumvirate in most games we play and rotate and then bring in Moses/Marin to get used to playing alongside them.
  11. Back on to topic, to label Torres pathetic is kind of harsh if you're aiming it towards him as a person/footballer. I agree with you in parts where his goalscoring record needs to be better, 19 in 83 games is it? That's not good enough for a Chelsea striker and this is coming from a huge Torres fan who's got his name on the back of each home kit since he's joined but it's simply going on too long now and I think our illustrious owner needs to dip back into the transfer market. Preferably, Falcao but saw someone mentioned Lewandowski and think that would be an excellent signing as well given his age and goalscoring ability in the bundesliga. That being said I will support Torres as much as I can down to the day he leaves Chelsea, and if that means he sets up 20 goals and scores none, well then i'll be happy that he's at least making a team contribution but I do think we need a new striker. Sturridge, if im honest I have never liked him as a player at all. I think his ego takes over and he thinks he's better than what he actually is, his left foot is extremely overrated with most of his shots thundering over the bar or rolling wide with the odd one or two hitting the target in about ten shots, he's not a team player like Torres either but I suppose you could argue it's good that he is actually having a go. I think we need to keep one and dispense of the other but I will support them both till the day that they leave Chelsea FC.
  12. As much as Suarez can be a c**t, respect for his latest tweet about John Terry. "A shame we could't get the three points. Glad to to help the team with another goal... Hugs to Terry, I hope it's nothing serious."
  13. The view is fantastic but the atmosphere is quite average, if you want the best atmosphere nowadays it's got to be Matthew Harding lower/upper. Went to the game against Shaktar and when Moses scored everyone was jumping all over one another, well that's just where I was sitting anyway. Little reminder, never leave before the final whistle has gone especially with our never say die team! Was sitting a tiny bit to the left of this..
  14. The ending to this video is so powerful and gripping for any proper Chelsea fan, the part between Schweinsteiger missing his penalty to Didier scoring his shows the recent history and unjust that the club has had in the Champions League especially with the John Terry penalty in Moscow, the music in the background and the commentary makes it all the more powerful. Then the celebrations after with JT, Lamps and Didier hugging would touch any Chelsea fans heart. This was the best video I saw on youtube of our Champions League win.
  15. Going to this, sitting behind the goal MH! Will be singing non stop or until my throat falls out. Come on Chelsea!
  16. Cech Ivanovic Terry Carvalho Cole Makelele Lampard Mata J Cole Drogba Robben **Getting ready to add Hazard and Oscar soon
  17. Teams I hate are; Manchester United Tottenham Hotspur Teams I dislike are; Arsenal QPR Teams I don't mind/nothing towards; Liverpool Man City West Ham I am 18 years of age.
  18. Couldn't agree more, especially Hernandez who incited a reaction out of our fans, f**king little prick.
