He predominantly played as a winger and lets be honest, playing #9 for Chelsea has a huge pressure tag on it. More so than RB or attacking midfield.

I will not comment on any of our midfielders until Poch is gone. The amount of space they have to defend, the lack of movement in front of them (all due to Poch's structure). Don't be silly guys, these are young players who have been given ZERO tactical advice. Poch made Lionel Messi look average, do not turn on them.

Too much pressure on him as a 22 year old to lead the line for Chelsea His link-up and driving us forward is very good, just not clinical. He's not a striker though, he's a winger and played there for Villareal.

Tuchel is a superior tactician, he's probably in the top 3 in the world. I also think Tuchel is the best knockout manager on the planet. However, in league form, he's not been too great for us as I dont think he sets the team up to be competetive enough against the smaller sides. I trust him to beat Madrid, PSG and Liverpool yet don't to beat Wolves, Southampton or Fulham. Can't compare Potter to Hodgson, that is beyond unfair. I've seen Potter's Brighton outplay us, Spurs, Pool, United and Arsenal on multiple ocassions. He is a top coach, it's just whether he can handle the big club atmosphere.

Also can I add that the protection our CBs get from our midfield is bordering pathetic, Thiago has been brilliant but he also plays in the centre where he gets protected by the R/LCB.

Wait, hold on? Are people writing him off already? Nobody with the exception of Thiago Silva and Reece James have resembled anything close to being good enough this season. The dressing room is in a mess, so many new players and a completely new system for him to get accustomed to. Rudiger you say? The guy that took 3/4 seasons of being here to actually be good? Koulibaly will be a great signing for Chelsea.

The only one I want now that Tuchel has gone. Good football, multiple systems and create a lot of chances. Top manager. If he had a different name with a better coat and came from La Liga, people would rave about him more. Also a little anecdote. We've played Brighton 3 times under Tuchel and they have outplayed us on every occassion. They should have won both games at the Bridge but a healthy margin as well. Only concern is how he will do at a big club (with all respect to Brightom whom I like) and managing those ridiculous egos.

Van Dijk would get exposed with that midfield. People have to realise it's our midfield that are causing our centre-backs issues and that includes Koulibaly.

1. He's a very good player in his own right. 2. Has the capabilities to play LCB should we need it. 3. Chilwell clearly isn't fit and won't be for a few months as he lacks match sharpness. 4. Alonso wants to leave, should leave and hurts us more than people think in a 5ATB system. 5. There's nothing wrong with having fantastic squad depth. City do, Pool do. Why shouldn't we? 6. Our season fell apart when we lost our wingbacks last season so we need more than 1 top wingback on each side.

Probably because Napoli's owner wanted 80m+ for the last few years and teams didn't want to go near for that price which they'd be right for. He's top 5 in the world and a better defender than Rudiger. If you are underwhelmed about Koulibaly then I don't think you'd have been happy with any CB signing.

Footballers these days keep themselves in much better physical condition so 31 is the equivelant to 27/28 a few years ago. We will have him in his prime for the next couple of years and he is easily top 5 CB's in the world. Aggressive, great on the ball with both feet, quick, great leadership and captain material. Everything you want from a modern day centre-back and he will come in and easily be the 2nd best CB in the league. Make no mistake, this is a big signing for Chelsea.

Has anybody else realised we're a far better team when he plays? His presence alone worries defences and it's not surprise we've won so many games when he's started in comparison to when he doesn't.

He's absolutely not a bad finisher. I think his problem is mental this season. Next season will be better, same with Werner.

Read this and you may change your mind. I think we will get him if and only if Roman is involved. He wanted Hazard personally, he got him. He wanted Havertz personally, he got him. He has an aura when it comes to attracting these targets. Also, our relationship with Raiola has dramatically improved over the last 18 months and apparently Cech has a big influence in proceedings now. I think we can get him.

This is pretty spot on apart from the fact Zouma needs to partner Rice. He's far better than Christensen who is weak and epotimises the current weaknesses that we show as a collective.
