Next season
Goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga Wilfredo Caballero Defenders Antonio Rudiger Andreas Christensen Emerson Cesar Azpilicueta Midfielders Jorginho N'Golo Kante Ruben Loftus-Cheek Ethan Ampadu Attackers Eden Hazard Olivier Giroud Callum Hudson-Odoi Christian Pulisic Regardless who our manager is next season, it's a very sad state of affairs that these are the only players that I would want anywhere near our first team/bench next season. We need a huge overhaul. Alonso, Zappacosta, Cahill, Drinkwater, Willian, Pedro, Barkley and Luiz are not good enough. Azpilicueta and Emerson would be bench options for me, along with Giroud.

Marcos Alonso
Never disliked a Chelsea player as much as him. Useless.

Who's the Greatest Chelsea player in the Premier League era?
I think if we're talking strictly Premier League then it would be further down the list. Drogba came to life in the Champions League and cup finals. Whilst his Premier League record was very good, it was never spectacular apart from 09/10.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
This is quite an interesting question... Would you all prefer to see Hazard/Kovacic or Hudson Odoi/Loftus Cheek? It's pretty obvious that Sarri doesn't rate the defensive contribution of Ruben which is why he doesn't play with Hazard often.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Sterling plays in a far superior system with far superior players. He's nowhere near Hazard in terms of actual ability.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
You can't. Only Messi and Ronaldo are better. Neymar and KDB are on the same level as Eden but he outplayed both of them at the World Cup. Hazard deserved to win POTT.

The only thing is that we'll be more balanced if Hazard goes. That being said, we won't find someone better than him.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Reasons for Hazard NOT joining Real Madrid. Vinicius is pulling up trees at Madrid. Zidane is also a big fan of Asensio. Both play on the left of attack. He's already mentioned many times that his family are happy in London, he has three young children and may not want to uproot them. He will earn reportedly 400k a week at Chelsea, Madrid won't offer him anymore than that. He genuinely loves the club. He's stated before that if he leaves Chelsea then it will have to be on a high. Maybe if we win the Europa League and secure CL for next season? The incoming transfer ban. Reasons for Hazard joining Real Madrid. He wants to win the Champions League. Lets be honest, we're nowhere near doing it unless we signed three top players. He wants a new adventure. He's been in the Premier League for 6 years, maybe he wants a change of scenery. Courtois' influence of getting him to join. Hazard has already admitted that he would love to play under Zidane. My own personal opinion, for the first time ever, is that Hazard will leave now that Zidane has taken charge of Madrid. The only thing that goes against this theory is that he said last month that he's made a decision. Maybe Chelsea are waiting till the end of the season to announce it or maybe he knows Madrid will make an offer in the summer and therefore is bracing himself to leave the club. I wouldn't hold the move against him. With the exception of Fabregas and Costa in attack, he's been surrounded mostly by dross and deserves better in that sense. Hazard leaving gives Hudson Odoi a massive chance to stamp his authority on the team. It's one or the other, I don't think both will stay. I really hope that Hazard signs the contract but if he doesn't, then I will wish him and his family well. He's made Chelsea worth watching on his own, let alone the 10 others.

Zidane going back to Madrid. Not good news for us.

Chelsea vs Wolves (PL) Sun 10th Mar 14:05 GMT
We need to improve our tactical fouling. Luiz, Kante, Jorginho or Rüdiger should have fouled Jota on the attempted break away. City do it all the time and it works. So naive from Chelsea. Wolves are a good side. They’ve beaten Liverpool and Spurs. Drawn against Arsenal, City and United. Disappointing not to win but I’m not furious with the result. We have to beat Everton otherwise top 4 is over.

Big game tomorrow. Spurs lost and United play Arsenal. Big chance for Chelsea to gain some momentum. You all know what this means... Chelsea 1-3 Wolves

Huge game. Wolves are a good side. If we beat them, we're right on track.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Bang average is a little harsh. You can see he was jaded against Spurs. Very good against City and got an assist today. Not much he could have done in the 6-0 defeat to City either. He hasn't been as good as the first half but I don't think he's been bang average. Costa was truly shocking in the second half of the season both times we won the league.

Welcome Emerson Palmieri!
Very good offensively, giving Hazard an option on the wing which Alonso doesn't do. Suspect defensively.

Lukaku offside and Southampton should have been given two penalties in the first half. Sigh..
-
Gonzalo Higuain
We brought in Higuain for games like tomorrow. We struggle to score and kill teams off, he needs to prove his worth massively against these sides.

Would Chelsea have got either of those penalties? Absolutely not.

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Credit where it's due. He's managed the Malmo, City and Spurs games extremely well. Huge opportunity for us now. Arsenal, Spurs and United all have tricky fixtures coming up. Check this out below.
