Chelsea vs Spuds (PL) Wed 27th Feb 20:00 GMT
Next three games are vital. If we beat Wolves, Everton and Fulham then we're in the driving seat for top 4. Spurs, Arsenal and United all play eachother. United and Arsenal are away to Wolves in the coming weeks as well whereas we are at home. We've also got a game in hand against Brighton.

Post Match Thoughts & Player Ratings | Chelsea vs Spurs
Good performance, very organised at the back. Deserved. Player Ratings: Willy 6 - Did he even have to make a save? Azpilicueta 7 - Marshalled Son well and blocked a decent shot from Kane in the first half. Solid. Rudiger 7 - Impressive in the tackle. Done well. Luiz 8 - Very authorative at the back. Gets a bonus point for kicking Kane up in the air. Alonso 7 - Solid but still can't cross. Jorginho 6 - A few sloppy passes combined with a few decent tackles. Jaded, needs a rest. Kante 8 - Everywhere once again, running out of words for how good he is. Kovacic 7 - Actually thought he had a good game, was very busy. Pedro 8 - Didn't have a great first half but was the sole reason that we won the second. MOTM. Higuain 6 - Done okay with the service that he had. Struggles to keep up with the game at times, shows the difference between Serie A & Premier League. Hazard 5 - Not a great game from Eden, sloppy on the ball however lets be honest, he was absolutely knackered. Subs Ruben 6 - Bit sloppy on the ball but broke forward well. Willian 6 - Done his job well defesnively without looking a threat going forward. Giroud 6 - Brilliant assist to Trippier for the second goal

Chelsea v Man City (LC-FINAL) Sun 24th Feb 16:30 UK
Thoughts on the game: Everybody on the pitch played well. Barkley and Pedro were a bit non existent in terms of the game however they tracked and defended well. Special mentions to Hazard, Kante, Emerson and Jorginho who were brilliant. Defence was pretty assured so kudos there. Props to Sarri for the line up and some very good in game management. However, lets talk about that disgraceful decision right at the end of the 90 minutes when Ruben played Hazard through on goal. The linesman raised his flag when it looked borderline onside with Hazard baring down on goal against Ederson. Rewind to the last round, same area of the pitch, same stadium, different team and different call. The linesman kept his flag down for Kane, he gets fouled by Kepa and Spurs end up getting a penalty through VAR and score. This is where I feel like we don't get the rub of the green with the officials. It's been overshadowed by the Kepa situation and the end result but this to me proves that the officials have no clue what they're doing and they almost pick and choose who they give the decisions for. He keeps his flag down, we all know Hazard is rounding Ederson and putting that in the net. Then put it to VAR. Joke. Congratulations to City, thought both teams gave their all.

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
The players are not dictating the tactics, no one has said they don't want to play his system. Quick passing out from the back is a hallmark tactic of Sarri's. I just think we need to accept that these players sometimes turn up and other times don't look motivated. It's no surprise how good we looked, especially when the likes of RLC and CHO were introduced along with starting Emerson. That's what I blame Sarri for, not starting them 3 in particular, sooner. Willian, Barkley and Alonso are NOT good enough.
-
Welcome Emerson Palmieri!
Should start over Alonso every single game.
-
We've got a new Kepa
Sarri just said it was a “misunderstanding” as the doctor was four minutes late telling him that Kepa is fine and that he’s proud of the players performance.

Two Transfer Window Ban?
Expecting a big summer in terms of outgoings and signings. It really make or break for Chelsea. We're at a crossroads now as it looks like another season without CL football. We have to go big this summer.

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Sarri has to start with Christensen, Emerson, Loftus Cheek and Hudson Odoi against City. They are the future. Willian, Alonso, Luiz and Barkley are nowhere near good enough to start for us and should be on the bench.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Christensen, Emerson, Loftus Cheek and Hudson Odoi have to start against City. They are the future. Willian, Alonso, Luiz and Barkley are nowhere near good enough to start for us and should be on the bench. They are the past.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Would love him to score the winner (highly unlikely I know) against City of all teams and shh our fans, didn't deserve that tonight.

Match Going Fans
Shameful booing Jorginho. Most of the team have been underperforming. I find it interesting that Jorginho has been the one singled out (me thinks it's due to his relationship with Sarri) yet the likes of Alonso who has been far and away our worst player this season, gets away with it. Very strange.

A survey about how do you feel recently when it comes to you being a fan
Feeling not so different, not affected by the last weeks Think the club is soulless these days.

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Too stubborn. Lack of rotation. Poor with youth players. Out of his depth, sorry Maurizio.
-
Marcos Alonso
Conte wanted Alex Sandro to replace him, doubt he'd go for Alonso again.
-
Arjen Robben interview
I mean on the right hand side. Hazard replaced Cole & Duff perfectly but we've never adequately replaced Robben.
-
Arjen Robben interview
Never replaced him.
-
Callum Hudson-Odoi
I honestly despair when I see Willian AND Pedro starting in the same team. Really hope we see the back of them next season but with CHO and Eden's future uncertain, I doubt we'll be getting rid of both.
-
Mateo Kovačić
Agreed, he's quicker and better in the tackle than Jorginho is. Only problem is that he likes to go on a few mazy runs and that'll leave us completely exposed even more so than usual

Chelsea vs Man Utd (FA) Mon 18th Feb 19:30 GMT
Lingard and Martial will probably not start as they're injured so that's a bonus. Mata, Lukaku and Sanchez will most likely start which actually will probably play into our hands and there's not an abundance of pace there.
-
Willian
As much as I want Willian out of Chelsea, I have to agree with @yorkleyblue on this one. Willian was very impressive in both matches. I was at the home match and we were concerned everytime he touched the ball.
-
Who's to blame?
The board first, then the players.
-
Our Full Backs
I said it in the summer that our fullbacks are an issue. No pace, not direct and can't cross from the byline. Need new ones in the summer. Reece James needs an opportunity next season, apparently he's been immense for Wigan, so good that they're trying to shoehorn him into other positions as well. Alonso outright needs replacing. Too slow and easy to dribble past, ponderous on the ball and takes too many touches.

Is the squad good enough
Would keep: Kante, Hazard, Kepa, Higuain, Christensen, Hudson Odoi and Ruben. Unsure on: Jorginho, Rudiger, Emerson. Do not suit the system: Azpilicueta, Giroud. Not good enough and need to leave: Alonso, Willian, Pedro, Kovacic, Barkley, Luiz, Zappacosta, Cahill, Drinkwater. Obviously, we're not going to sell that many players but that's my opinion. Pep was spot on when he said we needed 10 new players a few years ago.
