I'm just curious and wish to make a small survey about how everyone feels at this very moment or recent moment about the state of the club and all these past results. Voter names won't be public and I don't wish to disrespect anyone.

I have no doubts that a lot of you here are far wiser than me and that you have seen much more and went through much more, but I can't help to feel this big uncertainty when it comes to the club, it feels like nothing can be counted on anymore, sorry if I sound like a spoiled or ungrateful fan, I just wanted to see how the rest of you are feeling.

I maybe was naive and bought all the talk about Sarri, Sarriball and was really hopeful, but right now I feel like when I was a kid watching Robin Hood and getting super sad and angry at the same time when Friar Tuck got arrested and this song played(after a lot of years it came back to me out of "nowhere"), why can't we ever find the right manager for the long term :sadwalk::

My answer isn't on there.

I'm upset about the results, but that pales in comparison to how I feel about the future. A run of bad form is one thing, but this coach isn't building anything for the future.

This board has shown poor recruitment.

It's not the present that gets me down. It's the possibility that this Isn't rock bottom that scares me.

Hopefully we get the clean out and squad refresh we need this summer. Then there's something to look forward to.

But right now, the future looks glum, and that bothers me more than anything.

Can I have the drink a bottle vodka, eat a bottle of pills & slit my wrists in a warm bath option please ?

Seriously we’ve had a fantastic ride under Roman, there was always a chance he’d lose interest/ sell up/ delegate the running of the club to an unqualified female. That time may have come. If mismanagement on & off the pitch render the club to 6th & above in the league for a while, then we’ve got to see it out. Hopefully a change of ownership in the future will re boot the success cycle.

Think the club is soulless these days.

This.

Feels like we're stuck in a deep rut and there's no easy fix in getting out of it. However, I've become desensitised and accepting of our current predicament.

Look I know we do like to be a bit gloomy on here but we have had a great run over the last few years... I mean only 6 teams have won the PL since it started in 1992, we are second on the list of winners in this small subsection (yes I know before PL blah blah blah)

Yeah the last few weeks have been sh*t, but we are still in 2 cups (until Sunday anyway) and 1 point off top 4...

Yes the board need to buck their ideas up, yes their are many faults with the running of the club in general.

But come on

Yes good points yet we are all biased as we all support Chelsea and though some of us try to be objective ...........

On a separate point many of know we have been privileged to see so much success in such a short period and guess express our opinions to try and extend that successful period however meaningless.

Just trying to add that rare thing in any online discussion nuance :) yes we are having a sh*t run but we have had a lot of glory (probably more than we should have expected in all honesty) Yes i want the cups and victories to continue but I dont want to get overly gloomy at a bad run

I think age comes into how you feel. If you started supporting the club in the premier league era, from 94 onwards was a gradual upward spike to when Roman took over. Then it went to a different level.  Me personally I started going 77/78 as a ten year old, missed the swinging sixties and the cup sides of the early seventies.

For me personally this at the moment is nothing like what I endured coming to the Bridge for 5-6 years. So this situation is really different to how long the individual has been supporting the club.

I feel quite meh about football in general these days. When I was in my late teens and early 20’s I’d consume as much football as possible and if we lost it would ruin my whole weekend. Now everything is so hyped and players earn more than the average price of a house in a week. As an adult learning the value of money, although I have a better life probably than the average UK citizen, some days you do look at things and do nothing but shrug. But then it’s normal as their pay has gone up and what I get out of football has gone down.

However I’m just an old cynical nearly 30 year old haha

I tend to look from some abstract point of view (a win is somehow more symbolic and the color and shield that I like overcome whatever is out there?) and I don't even try to think about the value of money, because otherwise what are fans, but just consumers in a sad system, watching 22 rich people kicking the ball around and nothing more than a modern circus without bread concept?

Blimey nearly 30, you old sod!! I'm nearly 50 and have same thoughts as you, my son's are early 20's and if we are watching some sh*t Europa League game and we score they will jump up giving it the big un, I will sit there, they will moan like f**k which is regular at moment in these games, I will chuckle at how sh*t we are, I must stress big games and I am different animal. Maybe more pressure on youngsters with face tube and all the piss taking from mates etc

When it comes down to it, it's a game of football, you get over it. It affects my mood for all of half an hour after a game before I forget about it.

In the same way I'd rather it not rain when I step out to work every morning but if it is pouring, I put my umbrella up and carry on regardless.

I can't imagine a match ruining my entire weekend, christ.

Not fussed in the slightest. When we were  doing well, it was always a case of the winning providing opportunities for a good day out in a final, or promotion which allowed visiting new grounds etc, rather than winning for winnings sake. It’s always been more of a social thing.

In the current cycle we’ve triumphed in everything under the sun- can’t believe we’ve won the FA Cup 7 times now- and all we’ve got to show for it is a morgue of a stadium full of miserable fans.

Success doesn’t necessarily equate to happy fans, especially as when you win trophy’s you attract new suppporters, who only tag along because they’re in it for reflected glory. Personally I don’t think deciding to follow a team purely because they win stuff is a healthy outlook- as a kid I was surrounded by glory boy Liverpool fans, and most of those were w.....s.

We used to be a crap team with brilliant fans. Now we’re a good team, temporarily playing crap, with some of the sh*ttiest fans.

Wouldnt give a monkeys if we got relegated. Time to make this club real again.
