In general I wouldn't characterise the Dutch as mellow, first time I've heard of this! We're direct, misinterpreted by those bloody foreigners as rude. I mean, f**k off, seriously?! I'm going to go against the grain here. If this is true, which is extremely dubious, then it's absolutely right that he didn't go to the CWC. He's had one good season in France in a weak league, that does not give him the clout to be making such demands. We cannot allow this to set a precedent.
He should come back and compete for the starting position, like any other player. He will get chances, but if he's not willing to do that, then good riddance.

As someone who has a financial stake (yes, a bit unwise) in Jackson's accomplishments on the pitch, I feel I have to keep reading everybody's input in not only this matter, but also in other threads. I appreciate both @Ukraine Bolt and @nonotnowjim as fellow Shed Enders, so I don't want to block either, but to be honest the discourse is wearing me out. But keeping it simple, there's more to it...
1) can't stand the mafia that is the FA. They do what's best for them not the clubs or fans. So any wins against their restrictions or rules that involve keeping power, the happier it is for me.
2) my Mrs supports Man City. Happy wife, happy life. 🤣 🤣

To reflect solely on Pochettino I think he's done a good job this season. Taking account all the injuries and in what turmoil state the club's been under him. Finishing 6-10th is okay. 
He is an improvement on Potter, Saltor and Frank. That is pretty easy to say. For this project I think he is better than Tuchel as well. Tuchel seems to be a tournament coach. 
I think our young squad, who ever has played, is improved and individual players have improved. Naturally the recently assembled team will improve anyway under anyone but he seems to have the players in his grasp. 
Gallagher, Palmer, Gusto, Caicedo and with a stretch Petrovic have all been good under him. All young lads.
Hopefully we get the additions we need in the summer and get rid of players we don't. If the sporting directors succeed we also might next season. Big responsibility on them.
What Pochettino lacks is trophies. He hasn't shown that in his career. Maybe we could reach another final soon and he gets another crack at it. Hopefully.
