Should also take a look at himself, one of our worst performers this season.

The John Terry Appreciation Thread
I have always maintained that Lampard is my favourite Chelsea player of all time. Then I think just how much JT has done for our club and change my mind... We were so lucky to have them.

Willian
I suppose the question is, if we swapped the two, would we still have won those trophies? I think so.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
This is exactly how I thought of it. I thought it was a strange comment for Hazard to make about Lampard, Terry and Drogba after the Watford game when he was constantly talking about Madrid. Cesc was still at the club when he said this and obviously the interview with RMC was two months ago so a few of the players will know his thoughts and he was close with Cesc so maybe he's told him. Hazard did say that we will find out very soon, I think he will stay.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Pulisic will be Willian’s or Pedro’s replacement, not Eden’s. That’ll be CHO & possibly a marquee signing (Dybala, Dembele) etc.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Oh I don't want him as Hazard's replacement, would be a major downgrade. I was talking as a replacement for Willian but I suppose you could say, that's Pulisic.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Only problem, as mentioned above is that Coutinho is another player who likes to hold onto the ball for too long and hit desperate shots. He's a brilliant player but we need them to fit Sarri's football.

Next season
If Hazard and Willian leave then I would be going all out for Ousmane Dembele if he was available. Barcelona's board still seem unsure on him despite his upturn in performances and they want to get rid of Coutinho also. With Dembele in the team along with Hudson Odoi, our wing positions would be set for years and we'd have blistering pace to go with it as well. Not to mention, we would have Pulisic waiting for an opportunity and Pedro can be back up. Unfortunately, chances are he's not going to be available and even if he was, we'd have to spend £120m on him but that's who I would attempt to sign. I would love us to sign a creative midfielder like James who can rotate with Ruben, they both pick up injuries so they'd both get plenty of playing time (we desperately need someone in that position who can find the back of the net) and a left back in the mould of Telles who is direct and has an impressive array of crossing ability.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Would be happy to have Zaha but I think the only long term replacement is Ousmane Dembele. He can play on the left and the right and is a wonderful player. We would be set on the wings for years if we had him and Hudson Odoi terrorising defences. He started slowly at Barcelona and I don't think the Barcelona board are a big fan of him despite his recent upturn in performances. Only problem, he would cost about 120m.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Be very interesting to see how he gets on vs City when has Silva and KDB going at him. Will definietly need help from N'golo and Ruben/Ross.

David Luiz back at Chelsea
Sell him.

Gonzalo Higuain
Agree with this, perfect deal in my opinion.

Was brilliant against Huddersfield. Ran the show.

Andreas Christensen
Good performance against Huddersfield. Hope to see the same against City.

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
That is an unbelievably harsh assessement of a player who basically dragged us towards two league titles. In 13/14, he was far and away our best player. In 14/15, he won PFA POTY and pulled us through many games when Costa and Cesc's form dipped post-January. In 15/16, he came back overweight from pre season, staggered for a while under Mourinho like the rest of the squad and then had a 3 month injury lay off and still came in that season and ruined Spurs' title hopes. In 16/17, once again he was one of the best players in the league along with N'golo who rightly deserved to win PFA POTY. However, Hazard basically carried our whole attack when Costa decided he wanted a move to China and Willian was back to being his inconsistent self. In 17/18, he was once again our best attacker (aside from a two month spell where Willian was exceptionally good). In 18/19, he's scored 12 goals and has 10 assists (only Salah has more). Before Boxing Day, he was literally carrying us through games and scored one of the best goals I have ever seen. I think his constant comments about Real Madrid are a bit unnecessary now and he should either put up or shut up but he's given us nearly seven years of brilliant service aside from one season. Don't blame him, blame our board for not surrounding him with the quality that he deserves. This doesn't mean that I'm not a fan of N'golo because I absolutely adore the man. A very rare commodity in modern football and he should be applauded for not just his out of this world ability but for the way he conducts himself. However for me, Hazard is still our best player even if he does go missing from time to time, he's not Lionel Messi and we shouldn't expect him to be every game.

Welcome Emerson Palmieri!
It was a brilliant goal, Sturridge has scored goals like that before.
-
N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Eden, then Kante. Both are instrumental to everything we do.
-
Gonzalo Higuain
I would say Higuain is definitely in the top 20. Definitely not in the top two though!

Player motivation: Is there a virus in our dressing room?
By no means am I saying that we should sell Hazard. He's far and away our best player and also my favourite. I'm just pointing out that his flirting with Madrid isn't helping matters. I really hope he stays.

Welcome Emerson Palmieri!
That cross at the end was absolutely brilliant, it wasn't a fluke as it was intended to meet Giroud's head. I don't think Emerson is the answer to our problems but I much prefer him to this season's Alonso.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Has to start over Willian and Pedro who were absolutely dire when we played Bournemouth (as were most). Willian came on and preceded to hit three corners into the first man. We're playing Huddersfield as well so quite frankly, CHO has to start this one.

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Also, I like this from Sarri. Takes a big man to apologise. Have any of the players apologised for their disgusting performance against Bournemouth? Nope, they cower behind the manager. None of them have even posted on social media apologising. Spineless group.
