We should have raided Marseille in the summer. Payet (West Ham) Ayew (Swansea) Gignac (some mexican outfit) would all have been decent acquisitions. Benzema from Real would be a good striker and why not make a bid for Bale at the same time to give us a wide option?

We won't be in a relegation scrap come May so people need to calm down. The players aren't playing for the badge at the moment. Jose needs a striker to replace Costa and I would even start Remy for 2-3 games, depsite his headless chicken approach, at least he would unsettle defenders. Costa only ever wants to fight.

Costa is becoming a liability. Too busy looking for free kicks instead of getting shots away. The defence are looking lethargic and for all the pretty passing, we're about as dangerous as a water gun.

Great result, everybody wrote us off before the game but we absolutely bossed them and they were lacking a plan B. Superb victory for JM and that will sow seeds of doubt in the minds of the Blue Mooners.

IMHO we didn't start the game in a positive mood, it was only the last 5 minutes of the first half when we really appeared to show any attacking intent. West Ham came to park the bus and let's face it, why not? If they had opened up against us, we'd have slaughtered them. They need points and it doesn't matter how you get them. RDM is surely gonna go after this fiasco. You can't expect to win a game with no strikers on the pitch and we played without one for 70 minutes. Torres needs to follow along with Mikel. I'm not a fan of Luiz so he perhaps has to up his game and improve his positional sense before January or he can go too. Severe rebuilding is needed and it just goes to show that although people moan about the old guard, look how sh*t we are without them.
