Killing Off The Opposition
sorry i was pissed in more than one way! having sobered up i can't help but think that the only reason citeh's forwards are making hay is because of toure being an absolute animal in the midfield! he takes responsibility by committing himself to everything which in my books allows the forwards to concentrate mainly on what they are paid to do. this means more oppo players are dragged out of position and therefore allow citeh a clearer path to do damage.

Jose Deserves Time!
i think the first time round has spoilt everybody!
-
A distinct lack of warriors
nearly everybody commentating are on the same lines that we need someone in midfield who will dominate a la toure style. pity we cannot play ramires every game and a shame van ginkel got injured.

A distinct lack of warriors
also a good example of our pivot going missing!

Killing Off The Opposition
i don't care what anybody says but when you have a defensive midfielder who does not take it upon himself into disrupting play and tackling then this is what you get. when he allows others to take up the responsibility he is taking them out of position and this will lessen our chances of our forward play. if anyone think that i am out of order then please explain what the duties of a defensive midfielder is!

Matthew Harding upper
MHU is really quiet. i think there was only 1 bloke singing flying the blue flag sitting down!

Defensive shake up needed
perhaps JM can bring in sami khedeira.

Jose has the look of a man with no faith in his players ....
what is it with some? every now and again we will get beat! sure we can blame some of the players mistakes but we and every other top team are never going to beat everybody out of sight! i mean look at barca or real or goons!

Best Chelsea Goal Under Roman
certain goals stick to the mind like beckhams halfway goal against the dons or le tissiers slalom against newcastle or gazza's against scotland. the only goals that stick in my mind from the players under roman's ownership is drogba's loserpool one where with his back against goal he brought the ball down with his chest and swivelled to volley it in from 20 yards and that beatifull chip against wolves, lamps similar goal to drogba's goal against munich and joe coles backheel goal against united or his 2005 goal where he went through the entire united defence making ferdinand looking like a mug! lamps.

Our biggest rivalry
loserpool all the way for me! can still remember the little games we played in the late 70s when we were kids!

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
3 games in 6 days against top sides can even drain the best of them!

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
i had believe in JM in getting the best out of torres right from the start. backed el nino from 66/1 to be top score, he is now 33/1. i can really see him do it with so much of the season left and by what you have summarised.
-
Ibrahimovic or Lewandowski
pity that those are the only 2 options!
-
Ryan Bertrand - Should He Have Gone?!
for me it is still way to early in the season to think that bertrand will not be given the chance under JM to prove that there is life after cole.

Ramires appreciation thread
who are these people who are saying lamps can't pass or be creative?!
-
Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
citeh are a good side and they had players that were consistently trying to rough him up! as far as i am concern he did fine because we won the match.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
what will you say if we lost and SFL wasn't playing? as far as i am concern if SFL is in the side and we keep on getting results why complain and over analyse his game? good thing JM thinks different.
-
Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
can't remember who told me that my believe in JM can get el nido doing the business was wishful thinking and that my putting money on him at 66/1 to be top epl scorer was a waste of time but i can see a handsome return on it! c'mon nando!
-
The Striker Situation
where is all this paranoia coming from? i couldn't give a **** if the strikers aren't scoring if they are doing what torres did to spuds and open the play up for others to score! if the strikers are starting to bang them in as JM and many of us believe will happen then we will be fine. anyway we have only played half a dozen prem games and stand 3rd and people are worried?! as far as i am concern JM is getting to grips with the squad and is (in my opinion) quickly making us a force to be reckon with.
-
Tinkerman was ahead of his time
not sure why you have not mentioned the centerbacks who are the most important positions because if they shut out the opposition it means the confidence of that shut out will breed into our forward play.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
willian has tremendous ability which i am sure under JM will be replicated on a more consistent basis. we are not even in double figures in matches played in the epl which is basically a time where a new manager is finding his feet on his players. i am in a mind that as JM gains more experience with this set of players we will progress where nearly everybody will be singing on the same sheet. as the goons would say in 'JM we trust!' after all JM did give us our first taste of winning the epl.
-
Willian
spuds must be pissed seeing willian score a wonder goal as they are getting tanked by hammers!
-
Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
backed him to be top scorer at 66/1
