the first time i saw mcechren play a senior game was when he partnered ramires in the middle against zilina both started by giving the ball away but as the match went on they both grew into the match and help win it 2-1 from being 1 nil down. i was impress because he was only 17 at that time and i thought with more game time he was only going to get better. without the gametime or the stability what do people expect? the experts who talk about wilshere or even ramsey seem to forget that these boys have had a head start because of whinger. he is to be admired because he has not deviated from his believe that these boys will come good under his tutelage no matter what obstacle is in the way like injuries or experts criticizing or showing a lack of believe!!

everybody loves the way mata plays and that includes me. if JM wants mata to do what certain other spainish stars do from barca then he will be an even better player for it. he might even find himself ahead of them.

i am a huge fan of luiz but sometimes he takes it upon himself to try and initiate attacking play and join in at every opportunity and forgets his primary job is to defend. i believe this impedes our attacking players and because he is more established than most of them they allow him to do this. the less established players need to impose their will more and luiz needs to remember that his job is to defend more. i know people have an opinion that our strikers are not all there and i agree but if you cannot keep a clean sheet then you run the chance of losing.

interesting. my conclusion is the toffees will do well when lukaku is playing.

going back to emenalo i would imagine that he can't really fail in his position. after all we do have one of the best scouting systems going backed up with serious financial muscle and the glamour that is chelsea. he would also be surrounded by top judges who will advise on players. the interesting thing now is how much input JM will now have on all aspects of player recruitment because with arneson he was quite frosty!
