Everton vs Chelsea (PL) 30/12/12 KO: 13:30 GMT
Tough game, Everton always is. Often have the Indian sign over us. If Gibson misses out that is an added bonus as that is the heart out of Evertons midfield. Big test for us overall, hopefully one we pass. If we come away from Goodison with the 3 points, then I will start to believe we are turning the corner out of our usual winter sticky patch.

Norwich vs Chelsea (PL) 26/12/12 KO: 15:00 GMT
Not to defend Rafa but Piazon was given the chance when we were attacking Villa and therefore a chance to show what he could do, had Ake come on he would not have been tested as Villa are, at the moment, very poor going forward. Today the pressure was on for the few moments he was on the field, so a chance to gain a small experience of pressure put on our players a lot of the time.

Ah well always asking a lot of a side we put 8 past to get something off Spurs.

Seems Villa's only chance is to hope Spurs keep missing chances and play for a 0-0.

Well hopefully Villa put on a better show today than they did against us. Although looking at the line ups makes me doubt that...

Although today did do a good impression of opening Christmas presents for when you were a kid. You start with a few nice gifts, chocolates and small toys. Mata's goal is that one big gift you really wanted, the goals in the United game for Newcastle were accessories for that gift and Uniteds were batteries and a calendar. Then you get to the last gift and their is Hernandez popping from the box in Grannies knitted sweater!

Only 12 pages for full time and a win, and a few of the posts are about United's game lol! Had we lost over 20 pages easily.

Damage was done already in the title race. That late winner for them at City and us getting Clattenberged should never have have happened. The two home sides winning there and we would be sitting in an amazing title race instead of another United precession...

Same old United, always undeserved luck.

Norwich vs Chelsea (PL) 26/12/12 KO: 15:00 GMT
First time in a while I remember us holding on to a 1-0 or 0-1 result. Good job lads given Norwich have been doing very well bar their last result and beat United and Arsenal on their own patch. Hopefully we can do the same against Everton as they are rather close to us at the moment.

Come on we knew that was coming, they always do it. Play poorly yet nick it late on with a flukey goal.

Hopefully it remains that way.

Bet it will grow exponentially if we stop winning though lol

Also very strange for theshedend to have a match day thread that has only totaled, at this point, a mere 10 pages so far.

Given the clinical nature against Villa indeed. Really the Villa keeper had no chance on any bar the last goal and saved a pen. Today sounds like a very wasteful day.

Comments about United playing poor yet they still score 3 goals and have 15 mins odd to win it. Only United.

Has been said here a few times already but we really could do with that second goal.

Norwich vs Chelsea (PL) 26/12/12 KO: 15:00 GMT
if only the games ended at half time. But we are Chelsea and we know what often happens, United end up with a late winner, City win and we mess up somehow...lol. Well hopefully not this time.

This lack of action for us is all too familiar with our earlier games where we end up losing by the odd goal.

United dropping any points would be a bonus but not likely, it is far more important we get the win here. Surprised with Rafa's selections today but having Hazard, Lamps and Piazon on the bench to make an impact can hopefully help us decide the game in our favour.

Just a feeling, could well be a wrong feeling.

Rafa does like to rotate and keep people fresh, however I hope we see the same 11 that started again Villa. Though I agree with Randy, can see Luiz going in to the back 4 as I think Mikel is now ban free and will probably come back in, maybe with Brana rested for Everton.

Theo Walcott
Well then, is it indeed to be Walcott, Falcao and Fellaini this window then? Or do we need a new CB with Luiz taking the midfield spot?

Sturridge Transfer
Star has a history with getting these things right. We do not need Atletico's agreement to sign Falcao, just to meet his buyout clause. Then just Falcao's agreement. If you believe that a lot of the media stated, Atletico wanted to sell us Falcao for his buyout in the summer window to ease their debts. Roman said no and Falcao tore us a new one not long after. Maybe Roman has decided to splash the big bucks again. How Torres deals with this will be interesting as I would not expect the two to line up together.

Chelsea v Villa (PL) 23/12/2012 KO 16:00 GMT
Amazing performance and result. Piazon looked very good when he came on. Hopefully we carry on with Luiz in midfield and see where it takes us.
