Marin as a striker? I do not think so, but Moses can move up top.

Subs plan is perfect now, can all be made at half time. Oscar for Mata Marin for Torres Luiz for Ramires Moses up top, could be interesting.

On the wing? Unlikely. Up top in place of Torres? better chance of Robbie putting himself back in the midfield lol

So given Wolves are there for the taking, will Torres get on the score sheet?

Robbie is liking starting Torres in the hope he gets a few goals, builds his confidence and is set for Arsenal at the weekend. Quite happy with that side overall, gives us a chance to see a few newer players get some game time, though Turnbull is always a worry when he steps in. Can also see the pre planned subs idea that would see Moses go up top with Torres, Mata and Ramires all likely replaced with Oscar, Marin and Mikel respectively.

Sounds like a good plan to me, if Danny cannot start up top that is. -----------------Cech------- Azpi-----Cahill-----JT------Bertrand -------Romeu-------Lampard----- ----Hazard---Piazon-----Marin --------------Moses---------- JT starting since he is likely to be banned by the FA soon. If Danny is fit, Moses in place of Hazard and Danny up top.

John Terry Retires from International Football
Great post Davey. I stopped caring for the national side when all the other fans targeted our players for abuse. Only interest now is to see how our lads do and hope they stay injury free.

Good, he should have retired before this and concentrated on club football given the lack of gratitude for his service that has come through most of his England career. Lampard should do the same, only hope we have of maintaining them as top players who can play 35 plus games a season. Is not like the England fans want him involved anyways, well most of them that is. Only one of our over 30 England lads who can do both roles at top level is Ash.

Like your 11 there tremberz but do not expect Robbie to pick it. I'd take a draw Mike, not a bad result there at all.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 29/09/12 KO 12:45 BST
Really struggling to see how we will deal with an in-form Arsenal given what we have seen of late against Atletico, QPR, Juve and Stoke. That is in part because I am expecting to see a team similar to the one that started against QPR: ----------------Cech---------- Brana------Luiz-----JT-----Cole --------Mikel--------Lampard ----Ramires----Mata----Bertrand -------------Torres------- That is what I believe the side Robbie will pick, and am left expecting a 3-0 or 3-1 defeat from it. So yeah lacking confidence for this one, how are my fellow blues feeling ahead of our first true league test of the season?

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Arsenal are going to do us over next week I think, rare for anyone to take something at City. Good result for them.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
United win, City winning and QPR throwing it away against Spurs... Guess at least Arsenal are not winning cause of it lol. Ever notice when we play the day before our "rivals" always seem to win, unless they are facing each other?

Chelsea v Stoke (PL) 22/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Win is a win, Stoke make it hard for almost everyone they play. Early days for the attacking players we saw, but think Moses may have a big part to play in adding more directness to the side.

Could be Robbie's plan was to give them and say Luiz and Mikel half games today?

Chelsea v Stoke (PL) 22/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
They are likely right too the Drog loved scoring against Stoke, second only to Arsenal as sides he loved to score against.

Moses can go up top if need be, still a shame Danny is injured.

That is a very interesting midfield, let's see how they work together.

John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8096093/Chelsea-have-condemned-racist-abuse-of-John-Obi-Mikel-on-Twitter I'd say it is more the Chelsea "fans" here that owe him, owes him an apology that is, rather than the other way around.

Not that I want to question him but there were very strong links about Brana going to Real in the summer. Is it possible that he may have wanted that move and has had his head messed about by it?

He probably has a very thick skin so if anything he could have had a right laugh winding up those that posted abuse lol

Disgraceful. I would have not done that to Winston Bogarde, never mind any of the lads that actually pull on the shirt. Some of our fans are absolute muppets really. Is not like he is trying to play bad. This is the same Mikel who became a rock as we went on to win the same Champions League last season. Maybe if we end the season empty handed these "fans" will go back to supporting United or Real...
