Chelsea v Stoke (PL) 22/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
I am expecting this side: ----------------Cech Brana--- Cahill--- Terry---- Cole -------Mikel-------- Lampard Ramires-- Hazard/Mata-- Moses ---------------Torres

Daniel Sturridge not getting games?
I am beginning to believe we would be better off with Danny, or the on loan Lukaku, up top, rather than Torres. If we played Danny he may sign a new deal at least...

---Ramires-------Oscar Hazard----Mata----Moses Maybe would get overrun? Would be interested to see how that would work as a lot of pace, skill and creativity in that midfield.

Would not say it is depressing, we have a lot of young talent that will hopefully help form a cracking side. Courtious(sp), Bertrand, Luiz, Oscar, Hazard, Mata, Moses, Lukaku, Josh, Danny (hopefully he stays) plus a few from the youth side. We have a good crop of youngsters but takes time to make them a side. Hopefully Robbie gets it right.

Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
What a load to read here! Tried keeping up to date with the goings on while I worked but 30 odd pages again, only when we do not win eh?! Not an ideal start but we were facing the strongest side in the group. Disappointing to throw away a two goal lead but they are a good side, unlike the other sides in our group where one is decent and the other inexperienced. I have a theory as to why we are not seeing the best of Lampard and Mikel. We are basically back to AVBs way of things now are we not? When he came in he tried to change things, and ultimately annoyed the wrong people which got him sacked. Robbie is trying to avoid that, so rather than dropping Lamps he is trying to work him in to the system. It worked last year as our formation was the same, and we ended up with an epic season. Now though for what AVB did with Alex and Anelka see Flo Mo this year. I think why it is not working is because of one factor, no Didier Drogba. Our midfield, or rather Lamps and Mikel, were not shown to lack the ability to keep the ball and shake off opponents that press them because all we needed to do is hit Didier. With Torres up top we lose that option, and it has left ourselves woefully short of competition up top, since Danny appears to have no favour there and is not a target man option anyway. We have got some exciting young players to enjoy, but I think for us to end up with a winning season we either need a different midfield axes that can hold on to and give the ball well, while maintaining their positions, or we need a target man to launch the ball at. We are in transition from the Drogba era so will have to see how Robbie develops the side. He has earned the right to do so; hopefully he can make us succeed again. If not we will probably get Pep, as seems our change of style is one Roman is pressing for. Even with those different options though, I do not see Torres being the striker we are asking for. His reaction against QPR just added to that feeling for me.

Moos will most likely be more happy than we are come 10PM. We seem to be missing something at the mo, and Juve are too good not to take advantage of that.

Moses Quote
Nothing wrong with it. He is very young so not likely to spend all of his career with us. If he makes it to the very top, helps us win a few trophies and moves on for a huge sum to Barca then we cannot complain really.

Bad weekend, Arsenal, Spurs and United all win. Lost ground against this bunch of no ho(o)pers...

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Not to call for his head like others did yesterday but Robbie got it wrong with his team selection. QPR is a side we should be beating and looking to beat, not set up with 2 defensive wide players like it was City or United away. It should of been Hazard and two of Danny, Oscar and Moses behind Torres. A draw is not a good enough result if we want to challenge for the title.

Agree with Romansolider, and with that said expecting a 0-0, 0-1 or 1-1 result.

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Not a good result, not a good performance from the sounds of things. Have to wait and see how things go from here but I have concerns about our champions league group more so after these past two games. Shaktar and Juve will offer us a strong test. Far as the league goes I do not expect us to challenge United and City due to results like this one. Swansea put 5 past them, us not 1.

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Maybe a reaction to how Atletico took us apart? Not sure, either way would have liked Oscar and Moses in the side, hopefully they are allowed some time later in the game. Come of Chelsea!

Fellaini
Little high price there for me, but given we paid about the same for Oscar am sure Everton would expect that sum for Fellaini.

What happened to Malouda?
I read that we are still paying part of Yossi's wages while he is at West Ham, I guess that ratio of pay to none pay was worth it but with Flo we still had to pay too much. Not that it will happen, but it would be nice if we could agree a pay off for the last year of his deal so he can move on. Is rather sad overall because, while he was not a great player for us, he was top draw for a season or so. So is not the best way for us to deal with this.

Goodbye Ash?
I think in the case of Ash, who has shown he can still perform on a regular basis at a very good level a 2 year contract would be fair. In the case of Lamps one year contracts like Scholes is fair.

Wonder if Romeu and Ramires can work as the deep two? Ah we know it will be Mikel and Lampard anyways...

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Ok Raul has gone so he is no longer an option, with that being the case have Mikel return to my line up in his place. Would kinda like to see Romeu get this game too though...

Raul Meireles to Fenerbahce
In theory offers more chances to Oscar deep, seeing if he works out. In all likelihood though, means most games we are stuck with Mikel and Lamps as our deep two...

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Some rumours say we have reached a preliminary agreement with Fener for Meireles. Their window is not closed yet so he may not be an option for the game. We wait and see.

Raul Meireles to Fenerbahce
http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/910509-fenerbahce-in-talks-with-chelsea-over-raul-meireles-transfer With Essien going out on loan seems unlikely, however if this were to happen what would it mean for our deep midfield options?

Sturridge Transfer
Have to say our business, for the most part, this window was excellent but what has happened with Danny is a sour ending too it. We do not need unhappy players about the club and if there is truth in all this he is going to be rather pissed off. Hulk, Schurrle, Remy...all rather a farce that we did not put this transfer together to allow Danny to move. Rather that we screwed Brendan over, and while I have no love for Liverpool this guy was a part of Chelsea for a good few years. We upset our player and left ourselves short. Wonder if what happened with those 3 targets and Falcao pulling us appart means the rumours around him are true and Danny goes in Jan. Damage may be done by then in the league anyways. Might have been better just loaning him out and coping if something happened to nando.

Sturridge Transfer
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8045128/Rodgers-rues-Carroll-move I wonder if we screwed ourselves and Liverpool on deadline day. The rumours about Remy seemed to be strong, maybe his move was near done till the medical and that would have seen Sturridge go to Liverpool. Are we now in the situation where they are left very short and our alternative to Torres no longer wants to play for us?

Luck
Those were the taunts on Friday, the taunts from the red half of Manchester referring to May 19th, or least from my United supporting "friends". That and only being able to play well when defending your own box. Seems luck was once again on their side, to see off relegation cannon fodder. Still never is "luck" when it happens in United's favour now is it?

Barcelona 09 or Man United 08? CL
Not for me, given you have to look real hard to find a United fan that is not a complete biased twallop. And cause the only reason United won that day is cause Didi lost his cool, we had them well on the ropes till then imo.
