Tottenham v Chelsea 20/10/12 KO 12:45 BST
We did but that was at the usual stage of the season where Spurs fall flat. At this time of year they tend to be strong so do not think the semi-final does us any indication or favours for this one.

Tottenham v Chelsea 20/10/12 KO 12:45 BST
Just under two weeks we now have to wait for this one, and I am already waiting with anticipation. This really is a must win game for us (how often we say that almost makes it seem meaningless I guess) for a number of reason. For one Spurs are keeping a close pace to us early on and carry a lot of momentum having beaten United at OT. Beating them on their own turf would knock them back and allow us a good amount of breathing room (like we did when we beat Arsenal). Another is getting one over AVB, who you can be sure wants to get one over on us and Roman specifically. Not to mention it is a derby game and both ourselves and the Spurs fans want to get one over the other (and having to listen to them cheep on until we got a chance to set the record straight would be very annoying). Beat us and they will be calling themselves title contenders again... I am left to worry all that has gone on of late will leave us facing a real struggle in the game though, red card(s) and/or pens given against/not given to us us a gut feeling. How are my fellow Blues feeling for this one? Patients doing well?

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Apparently RVP just elbowed Newcastles Cabaye and got away with it. Come on FA you are all about retrospective banning these days time for another one!

0-3 United, why do Newcastle chose to be this useless against United?

The Spurs game is a concern for me. Off the international break distracting us does not help. Under normal circumstances it would be a tough game but a game, much like going to Arsenal, that we could win and make a big statement. With the AVB factor, and all that has gone on recently seeming to have influenced the powers that be against us, I just wonder if we have been put in a no win scenario for both this game and possibly the United one to follow.

Well Newcastle look beaten already, Spurs are about to win so not a great Sunday for us. Really the least Newcastle should have taken from the game at home is a draw.

Go away from the computer for 20 mins or so and both United and Spurs go two goals up...too much to ask to stretch our lead over them this weekend it seems. Guess we need to do it the hard way and beat Spurs ourselves after the international break.

Chelsea vs Norwich (PL) 6/10/12 KO 15:00 BST
I second this. Finish them off, allow some of the lads on the bench to get game time.

Chelsea vs Norwich (PL) 6/10/12 KO 15:00 BST
Keep going lads, take the game away from them completely!

Chelsea vs Norwich (PL) 6/10/12 KO 15:00 BST
We gave them early encouragement, but we should be sure to take it away quickly. 3 points is a must from this type of game this season.

Chelsea vs Norwich (PL) 6/10/12 KO 15:00 BST
You have to be kidding me, open the game strong and go 1 down to this mob on our own pitch? What did I say about focus? Let us see some passion and fight for it eh?

Bottom line is, if focused, that side should be more than good enough to get 3 points off Norwich.

Actually it is the opposite, we both love and relish it. Shows we bother them, whereas they are more just another bug that splashed against our windshield.

Time to retire from International duty as well Ash. FA called him a Liar, that he he lied in court for JT. Why carry on representing them?

Chelsea vs Norwich (PL) 6/10/12 KO 15:00 BST
We have beaten both Arsenal and Newcastle in the league so far, both good sides who, on their day, have shown they can give trouble to the best sides in the league. We also have drawn with QPR, a team that has mostly looked like garbage this season. So while we SHOULD put Norwich to the sword, claim 3 points and a few goals to boot to carry on our good run, we are at risk again if we do not focus. Whatever side Robbie picks so long as they are motivated, hungry and bring home the expected and needed 3 points I am happy.

Nordsjaelland v Chelsea (CL) 2/10/12 KO 19:45 BST
Good result in the end for us. Not sure Shaktar getting a point at Juve is good for us at all, we have a double header with them now while Juve will likely take 6 points during that time. It could mean we go to Turin behind Juve and needing a win to get in to the next round. Letting that two goal lead slip against Juve could end up proving very costly unless we raise our game and put away Shaktar.

I agree with you there but believe that, unless Robbie produces another truly amazing season; he will be replaced by Pep for next season. Seems Roman gave him the job because Pep would not take it this season.

Contract Issues
Lampard 1 year rolling deal like Scholes seems fair to me. Cole should receive a 2 or 3 year deal imo.

Roberto Di Matteo
For this season would agree with Davey, retaining the Cl at Wembley would be amazing. But in most seasons winning the Prem is the main goal for me, our bread and butter.

Random Rumours
No for me, we have done good in the recent window and I would rather see Moses get a chance than sign hulk.

Nordsjaelland v Chelsea (CL) 2/10/12 KO 19:45 BST
We only have the one point and are vulnerable in the group. Screw up this one and we are in real jeopardy of missing out on the next round and ending up in the Europa... Whereas if any of our lads really, really need a rest our game after this Tuesday game is Norwich at home, the same Norwich that got hit for 5 at Carrow Road by Liverpool. If a rotated side cannot get 3 points off them at the Bridge then there is something very wrong with our strength in depth...

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 29/09/12 KO 12:45 BST
When I got on here this morning as I am getting ready for work to see 35 pages already I thought that probably meant we had lost. So a pleasant surprise to be greeted by. Bold line up from Robbie, one that, by the sounds of it, took the game to Arsenal. Hopefully Roman is pleased.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 29/09/12 KO 12:45 BST
A test for how Roman wants his Chelsea to be. Seems to me he wants to see us take on the best passing sides and out play them at their own game, as well as beating them. Though personally I believe if we take on Arsenal at their own game we will be on the wrong end of a heavy scoreline. Can only imagine what would happen if we took Barca on at their own game...

Chelsea v Manchester Utd (LC) 31/10/12 KO 19:45 GMT
Well it has been a while since we got far in the League Cup, guess it should not be easy to do so this year either...
