  1. Bit concerned that we're being dominated so easily.
  2. Scored against Liverpool!
  3. At least we know now when we play QPR, Mata will have a lot of joy down that left wing!
  4. JoeyN replied to a post in a topic in General Chelsea FC
Can't wait to see this guy play in a Chelsea shirt!
  5. I reckon Robbie will be sacked half way through the season. Sorry for the negativity, but I honestly don't think he's the man for the job. He deserves a chance, no doubt, but something inside me just thinks...A bad season is coming. I REALLY hope I'm wrong. My expectations is 4th and the WCC.
  6. I would complain too if I was being replaced by meireles! haha
  7. The real question is. Will he take a large pay cut to stay at the club?
  8. If he accepts a smaller role, maybe playing 25-30 league games / big matches, I think he should sign a one year rolling contract. We all know Frank is one of the most professional players around, and if the board offer him a new contract every year depending on how well he is playing, I think he will be here until he retires. It would be a massive shame to see him go. I can see him playing better this season, and probably scoring more goals. I think a part of him wants to see Chelsea win the PL again.

  10. I hope the club doesn't see this as a glorified friendly tournament. We need to win this thing. I think it will be VERY important in the future, and I doubt we will challenge for the Champions League for a while yet. I remember when Man United ducked out of the F.A cup to concentrate on this competition. I honestly reckon we could get two major trophies this season. F.A Cup and this one. Two trophies and a top four would be great imo
  11. The loss to Brighton didn't really effect me. As a Brighton boy myself, I half support them although I did get a lot of sh*t from my mates that day :( Hope they get promoted this season. Would love to see them in the PL.
  12. Bertrand would of knocked him the f**k out. Lanky twat.
  13. Am I the only one who thought we looked good? Minus the sending off, we probably would of won that. Good game. Wigan won't know what hit them in a weeks time ;) Although, I don't like the long goal kicks. Play from the back. Keeps possession and dictates tempo.
  14. Savic will be the next to get a red or a second yellow in his case. Just a shout out to David Luiz. Been really good so far imo
  15. Not surprised at all. http://forums.pesfan.com/showthread.php?244613-John-Terry-Don-t-judge-a-book-by-its-cover Saw this on the forums a while ago.
  16. Another FIFA story. First of all, I had a very vague interest in football. I used to play it but I didn't really support a club, I only supported the national team. I Was playing FIFA 99 (I was 8 at the time) with my friend and he always played as Chelsea. I played as Manchester United as I thought I would win all the time. Anyway, Zola kept scoring against me in our games. About a week player, I bought the game, and starting playing as Chelsea because my friend always beat me with them. A week later, I learnt all the squad, and started to check Chelsea out. Fell in love with Zola in the prem and the rest is history. It isn't actually until this season I will start to go to games regularly. I've never had the money for a membership/tickets so whenever I did go, it was very occasional. Bought my first membership this season, and been to the Brighton V Chelsea game. Newcastle next! Can't wait! Gonna try go once a month :)
  17. He used the same approach last season and we won the double. I'm all for it. If you heard his post-match reaction to the Champions League win, you would see his true personality. Great guy. He's just being professional and if you think he's bad, look at Manchini. He says "We will be lucky to be 4th this season". What kind of PL Champions say that?? All these strategies are designed to help keep media pressure of the players and the team.
  18. Fernando Torres :D Torres being a beast for me at the moment!
  19. Chelsea VS Liverpool Good game overall. Liverpool hardly had a shot on target. Was desperate for Torres to score but he hit the woodwork twice :( Sturridge out for 3 weeks. Could be a blessing in disguise because it could give Gaitan the match experience he needs to start performing. Although he did set up a chance for Torres on the counter which he completely f**ked up... Ah well, another clean sheet, and another three points! 7 Clean Sheets out of 13 so far!
  20. If you, like me are addicted to Football Manager, post your Squad/Tactics/Wins etc here. Maybe we could get an online league going if we could get enough people? I decided to simulate the first season and come straight into the second season at Chelsea. I have a £60M transfer fund. People came in, people left. My aim for the season is Champions League Qualification as Robbie guided us to a poor 6th place last season with no trophies. Here are the screenshots! 2012/2013 Season Squad Stats (Goals / Assists) Premier League Stats Team Stats Fixtures Players In/Out Chelsea VS Wolves Premier League Table (so far) All in all, a good start to the season. Obvisually we're not in the Champions League and the early league cup exit was dissapointing but I was using it soley for playing youth / reserve players. Liverpool are 9th which is nice and I have a home game against them soon. We're playing some really good football at Home and I hope to completely destroy them. Torres and Mata are on FIRE! I have two players coming in at January with Essien / Malouda leaving. I snapped up transfer listed James Rodiriguez (LW) and Radja Naingollan (CM) for backup to Mata and Ramires. Lampard will probably leave at the end of the season as his wage his quite high and to be honest, just isn't performing. Sturridge is performing well and intenionally signed Gaitan to be first choice but he hasen't really got going. Josh is out on loan and I hope to give Courtois some more playing time. Spurs are playing really well at the moment, but not too concerned as they will probably have an awful 2nd half to the season :D Typical spurs. I will update things as my season goes on!
  21. No doubt his managerial career has been helped incredibly by last season but I stand by what I said a couple of months ago. I don't think he's the right person to bring in the new Chelsea era. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling Champions League qualification is going to be a tough tough task this season.I reckon we will get 4th.
