Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017
I think Ajax were incredibly naive tactically and Jose's experience shone through. Sat back and comfortably watched them try to penetrate the defence through the middle repeatedly to no avail. They had no plan B and that was tailor made for Jose. No surprise.

So in your opinion it isn't in fact embarrassing then? Could have just said that.

Antoine Griezmann
You forget he's only 54 years old, which is fairly young for a manager. He's still got 10-15 years of management in him. Why then would he go manage Portugal? Especially while Ronaldo, who's not a fan of Jose at the moment, is still playing and is the captain. I think he'll find himself at another club if it doesn't work out at United. Maybe PSG? Though Jose doesn't like how light Ligue 1 is judging by his past comments. I really can't tell but the fact is, he's still one of the best managers in the world and he's still going to be managing for a long, long time. 3 bad seasons won't change all he's accomplished. He might need a year away from football to get his sh*t together and try to adapt to today's football.

Conte's judgement.
I'm tempted to believe Simon's got an account on here.
-
Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
So he could in fact stay?
-
Antoine Griezmann
Doubt that would end him. But I can't see him lasting beyond the 3rd season. It would be interesting to see how the squads of the top 6 look at 12:01am the day after deadline day.

Wing backs who would be an upgrade or backup?
Are you talking about Real Madrid's Danilo or is that a joke?

Antoine Griezmann
Was never going to be a Chelsea player. Too strongly linked to United even if they didn't have CL football.

Chelsea Kits for the 2017/18 season
'Official' 3rd kit leak. Thoughts? Looks like something that'll grow on me but I may end up buying this.

FFS Jose

Alvaro Morata
Off to Milan? (Ignore the tweet's caption. That Chelsea account is a clueless idiot. I remember how anti-Conte he was in pre-season)
-
Alexis Sanchez
Looks like Bayern have been scared off by the wage demands according to Bild. I'm sure we can offer him 300k.

We're hardly after the same players mate. We were never in for Griezmann, in fact, Griezmann has been United bound for at least a year now. None of the players we're after are serious United targets save for Benjamin Mendy whom I'm not even quite sure Chelsea want (or can get). They can go right ahead and improve themselves along with City. I'm sure we've all expected this for months now. Wouldn't have it any other way. It'll make winning the league next year over them even sweeter.

Love Jose still but this is actually embarrassing, trying to force everyone to recognize the Community Shield as a "trophy" ffs.

Chelsea Vs Arsenal (FA Cup Final) 27/05 2017 KO 17:30 GMT
Hazard hat trick. Thanks.
-
I'm sorry but why exactly are United favourites ahead of Chelsea to win the league next season???
Even if they lose the EL final to Ajax, they still won the League Cup. Which is an automatic EL qualification for next season. So they'll still have Europe next year one way or the other.

Chelsea Kits for the 2017/18 season
I would actually buy both of those as they are. Hoping the home kit leaks soon.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
So about £333m in revenue apart from the £60m Oscar sale and (supposed) pending Costa sale. Not bad at all.
-
Alexis Sanchez
I think signing Sanchez would be the end of Willian's Chelsea career unfortunately, but it's a sacrifice worth making.
-
Alexis Sanchez
Tbh he was in fact bigger than the Arsenal team (not the club itself obviously, just the team). Who in that dressing room apart from say Cech has done anything of note in football? Not even Ozil is on his level despite the World Cup medal. At Chelsea, there are several big characters so he'd have to readjust that. Not to mention our manager is no push over like Wenger. After having to drag Arsenal to victory countless times with no serious benefits, I can understand why he feels bigger than their team. Also, we've had a combustible character like Costa for 3 years now so it's not like we can't handle crazy behaviours.

Right. I've got Beyonce in mind. Doesn't mean I'm going to end up banging her though.

Virgil Van Dijk
For the record, I meant to say 2013-2016. Not sure why I mixed that up. That said, I never once called him "poor offensively". Not sure where you've gotten that from. I said he's not that good offensively. In other words, he's okay. Nothing spectacular. And playing in that position isn't just about assists and goals mate. That was very evident in how poorly we performed when Moses was out, wasn't it?
-
Alvaro Morata
Did they tell you they're going to do it? Goes both ways mate. Just watch and see what plays out.
-
Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
Time to move this thread. Good luck to him.
