Sat here and went through the very few posts on the Random Rumours thread and couldn't find anything even remotely related to what you're talking about that I posted. Are you mistaken me for someone else? And since when is calling an Alaba dream a pipe dream somehow out of line? If someone started a Messi to Chelsea rumour thread and I post a "Why bother with this?" in there, how on earth is that somehow wrong? Some things are brazenly obvious. If I started a "Wenger to Chelsea" thread right now and say "there's a chance he manages us next year" what will your reaction be? Exactly. This is football. Crazy things happen but some things are common knowledge to the point where you can almost guarantee with 100% certainty how they play out. You're getting wound up because I poke holes in bubbles. That's amazing. And this one's stupid because why on earth would you swap Hazard for Bale who can't even stay fit the whole season? What point would you be trying to make with that?

But what's that based on? Llorente has been out on loan this season while Casemiro, who hasn't even entered his prime years yet and is important to their team, has started 41 games. If Llorente doesn't go back on loan then he's going to have to prove himself and force Casemiro out. Imo, there's no way Zidane just hands it to him on a platter. If I'm being honest, I'd pass on both of them. Call me crazy but I'd take Lewis Baker over Marcos Llorente. We have our own.

Casemiro is a pretty important player for them though. He allows Kroos and Modric to do other things while he cleans up after them, among other things. Chances of getting him (he wouldn't even want to leave) are extremely slim as of now. Edit: Here's how they play. Notice the Casemiro bit

Please point out the other threads where I've written "this type of post". Take all the time you need. In case it wasn't obvious, I'm referring to the topic of the thread. I understand why it was created in the first place. Hazard was having a piss poor season for reasons unknown and we would have probably been okay with offloading him to Madrid, despite how stupid it would have been (as proven by his resurgence this season) for a frequently injured Bale. But to bump up the thread again because he's had one poor game in a final after an overall stellar season is just extra stupid. I'll keep using the word stupid, because at this point, that's what the thread is. Stupid.

Enough of that. They did it in 2010 after the double, did it again in 2015. No more. They even did it last summer as well. Only managed to get Kante fairly early. Can you imagine. Sanchez to City will only happen if we let it happen. They already have Aguero, Sane, Sterling, KDB, D. Silva, B. Silva and Jesus. We have Costa, Hazard, Willian and Pedro. The need for Sanchez is far greater in our squad and we're in London, reportedly Sanchez's reason for choosing Arsenal over Liverpool. Everything is in place for us to get him if there's a chance he moves to another English club. As I said, only way Sanchez to City happens is if we let it happen.

Yeah I don't think so. It changes nothing imo. I think depending on how the summer goes, we can still entice him. This match didn't change the fact that they'll be playing in the Europa League next year while we try to challenge for the CL and retain the league title. In fact, winning the FA Cup doubled their Europa League qualification, if you will. He's turning 29 next year. He'll waste all his prime years for a joke club with no real ambition if he stays at Arsenal.

That period from 2005 to 2011 was overall pretty even between ourselves and United. We won 3 titles, they won 4. After Carlo was fired was when you really started to feel that the team had come to the end of its cycle. We should have beaten United to one of those titles when they won 3 in a row but what can you say really? We need to get back to that strength in quality and depth. It's remarkable that Conte was able to win the league on 93 points and 30 wins with this squad. Absolutely mind blowing. But he'll finish 3rd at most next season if we don't strengthen now. If Emenalo and Marina don't put a 300k/week offer on Sanchez's table by next week, they both need to be fired ffs. City already started their window without wasting time. We shouldn't be waiting for July 1st. City are close to getting Mendy, a full back we should be in for. That's what happens when you're complacent.

Even Drogba whose bread and butter was big games actually bottled some big games in his time. Didn't have too many good performances against United, often got snuffed out by Rio and Vidic. Went missing a few times against Liverpool as well. Got sent off foolishly in Moscow. It happens. Granted Hazard needs to be more consistent and more decisive, we also need to support him with another world class forward. There's a reason Ronaldo and Messi are in one class and the others are below them. They perform almost 100% of the time. You could say it's not human. That's why they're both top 5 in the history of the game. Hazard is obviously miles off that but like you said, so are a lot of others in his class.

And then what's your bright solution? Should we sell him then?

That's exactly what I want to hear. No emotions, make the cold decisions. Replace those who need to be replaced.
