  1. When did the tickets for this match go on sale? Seem to have completely missed the release as Chels website says its now sold out.
  2. http://soccernet.esp...-battle?cc=5739 This link may help explain the position of some teams in some pots, heard that Juve were always gonna be moved down a pot anyway to pot 3 because of the match fixing scandals surrounding Conte last year which I think is ridiculous and probably untrue because it was when he was in charge at Siena and nothing to do with Juve. How incredible would it be to retain our Champions League Crown back at Wembley in May next year? I think the draw takes place on the 30 August in Monaco.
  3. Good game for Chels, especially after the nerves a lot of fans had after our loss against them last season, contained Cisse and Ba well and our midfield didn't give them any time on the ball. Very happy to see Torres score such a cracker and Hazard just keeps getting me more and more excited for the coming season, some great link up play with Mata. On another note, not sure if it was just me but did anyone else experience the massive deja vu when Torres sent in that Rabona cross? He did the exact same thing in the exact same position against the Toon in May except this time he received a lot of praise for his skill and back in May I didn't hear a sniff about it after the match on the radio! (I'm sure the fact we were 2-0 down or something obviously played a part but it was still pretty weird!). http://t.co/K000D6x3
  4. Agreed, Wombles support definitely more concentrated around Kingston/New Malden area than Merton.

Couldn't agree more, US version is written very well in my opinion, loved the UK version too but Rainn Wilson and John Krasinski as Jim and Dwight have some of the funniest scenes I've ever seen and Steve Carrell is just hilarious. Loved Extras, definitely worth a watch and Chuck is good easy viewing telly, was sad when it ended but it definitely had gone downhill by the end. Not Going Out with Lee Mack and Tim Vine I actually found really funny, not sure if its still available on iPlayer though.

White Collar Suits Game of Thrones Entourage The Wire Dexter Homeland House MD The US Office The Walking Dead Prison Break Luther Spartacus: Blood and Sands All great tv series, I don't live by my TV, but I wish I did.
  10. New Malden -> Wimbledon -> Fulham Broadway One of the most popular routes on match day's, trains are jammed full of Chelsea faithful, always gets you raring to go for kick off.
  11. I completely forgot about his court case, I can't see the club sacking him if he is found guilty, would they? But they may decide to hand the armband on that's a good point. Just found out Ivan actually moved into a house a few roads away from me a few months ago, I'll go ask him what he thinks of possibly being captain but I imagine if the armband is handed on next season Lamps would be first in line.
  12. Just wanted to see some of your thoughts on who should captain Chelsea after JT retires in a few years time? At the moment I'm at a loss for candidates other than Cahill because the likes of Lampard, Cech, Cole, Ivan etc will have already or will retire pretty soon after the time Terry decides to retire. Do you reckon the captaincy should be passed on to one of the old guard for a year or two every few years or given to a younger player so he can establish a captaincy for a sustained period like when JT was handed the armband permanently back in 03-04 by Ranieri? Any youth players suggesting they might have leadership qualities?
  13. Blink 182 in July, Creamfields in August.
  14. Wasn't the biggest fan of Greece at the beginning of the Euros and would have preferred if Belgium had qualified, didn't think they'd played that well either first two games but I was genuinely chuffed when Karagounis scored that goal, he works hard each game he deserved some reward.
  15. If we let every player who felt they weren't being picked in their favourite position go we wouldn't have much of a squad. Sure Sturridge has to accept he has a team role to play and he isn't the focus of Chelsea's attack but to be so cut-throat and let him go would be a big mistake in my opinion, he has potential, his confidence aside. And with Romeu I thought Barca could only take him back if we decided to sell him? They had a first dibs on him, but couldn't just take him back if we wanted to keep him.
  16. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2012/06/14/chelsea-to-make-18m-offer-for-newcastle-united-winger-hatem-ben-arfa/ Not sure if he's worth 18, definitely not the 26million the article seems to think Newcastle will demand for him.
  17. Anyone seen Lyon's new 3D kit? http://www.google.co...29,r:7,s:0,i:94 Me thinks Chelsea should make our third kit 3D.
  18. Rumours that we've entered the race to sign Debuchy alongside Newcastle on the internet. He's looked pretty solid for France so far.
  19. Heard Malaga want £20million for Rondon, he's scored something like 25 goals in 2 seasons over there, its decent but definitely not going to fill the Drogba void and he doesn't really seem worth it for £20million.
  20. Heard something about Sturridge starting up front at the Olympics for GB, given some more time to develop I reckon he could turn into a great striker, his arrogance and selfishness will suit that, but at the moment I agree with the rest who say he isn't at the stage yet where he can expect to walk into the lone striker role at Chelsea. Who knows, maybe if he comes into his own up front at the Olympics he may get his wish and start up front for Chelsea, would be a real shame to see him go.
  21. Heard of him last year, he's a defensive midfielder/centre midfielder, supposed to have really developed this year in Barca B's squad (but you hear this all the time with young players so not sure how promising that might be). He plays quite a lot like Josh, picks up the ball, passes and moves and has good vision. I'm a bit skeptical because being a Josh fan boy I don't like the idea of Josh having even more competition but having said that he may compliment Romeu quite well in the centre of midfield. However, I did hear that Tito has plans for him in Barca's first team next year if Keita leaves and that if he did come it would be included with a buy back deal for Romeu sometime in the future.
  22. ---------------Cech--------------- Ivanovic---Cahill/Luiz---Terry----Cole -------------Tiote----Lampard------------- Ramires/Hulk-----Mata----------Hazard -----------Fernando/Cavani------------------ Subs: Courtois, Bertrand, V.d.Wiel, Marin, Sturridge, Mikel, Essien Would even think about trying Luiz in DM role alongside Tiote who would hold while Luiz goes on one of his runs. Interesting to see where everyone thinks Luiz's best role in the team is and if he could play elsewhere effectively other than CB.
