We desperately need someone who can shoot from outside the box in games like this. Lampard spoiled us for years and Ballack could hit them as well, but no-one on our current team seems to. Whether that's Chalobah, RLC or even MVG remains to be seen, but I miss those low bottom corner drives.

At a guess, Michy is the long-term successor for Costa as his peak should be around the time Costa begins to deteriorate (in theory). We won't need to worry about whether or not Llorente needs minutes for development, and he'll probably prefer winning trophies on more money in London than a relegation scrap with Swansea. With Ake potentially about to break into the first-team, collective faith in the loan system could be rejuvenated as more than just endless trips to Vitesse.

I'd still like to see him at some point in a 352 with Kante/Matic covering him. Get him driving through the middle with Costa/Hazard to play off

This w**kfest over United is ridiculous. Yes, you can only beat what's put in front of you, but half of their unbeaten run are draws against teams they should have beaten. The only good win in there is Spurs (so credit where that's due), but the only other decent team they've played is Arsenal, which they threw away in the last minute. Man for man I still think we are far superior.

I think everyone they've played has been bottom half, we still have them beat man for man.
