By far my current favourite player. His contributions last season were vital and we wouldn't have won any silverware if it weren't for him. I only ever really saw Liverpool as Champions League rivals. The 4-4 game (7-5) on aggregate had me biting my nails almost as much as the Barcelona, Nou Campe game.

We had many rivalries and each one had different factors in my opinion. Arsenal, I believe to be the classic Red vs Blue city derbies (Man United & City, Liverpool & Everton) Before the 03/04 Champions League QF, I was desperate for us to beat them because we hadn't done so in a long time.) Fulham just down the road being our closest rivals. Tottenham & QPR... Well we just hate them.

With Mata, Hazard, Oscar, and Moses all operating our attacking midfield I can't see Malouda getting any important game time. Guess money is that important to some players.
